Everything was amazing. The host gave us great travel and food references. The cabin is only a short drive to Bayfield and the ferry to Madeline Island. The cabin was a perfect central location for us to drive to our different hikes in the area we had picked out prematurely. Cannot recommend this place enough.

Cozy and amazing cabin!We absolutely loved staying at this wonderful cabin in the woods! It was very relaxing and exactly where we needed to be. Kristin does a beautiful job decorating and is in tune with having everything that was needed for our stay. She went above and beyond to make sure we enjoyed our visit! We had a great stay with our dog! It was so nice to be secluded in the woods but yet close to Bayfield. The cabin itself was exactly as described and in the pictures. It has everything you need to be comfortable and we were happily surprised to find little thoughtful things like small lights by the bed if you needed to get up during the night, and a lot of outdoor options to relax and play at the cabin. We loved hearing the bull frogs in the pond and spent a lot of time in the screened in porch. We will definitely try to book this again when we are next in the Bayfield area.

Perfect weekend getaway in Apostle Islands

This cute little cabin had everything we needed and more! Oven, fridge/freezer, grill for cooking. A little screened in porch to enjoy the outdoors without the bugs along with a fire pit for evening fun and a pond right outside the door that my dogs (especially my lab) loved! The location was great, just 10 miles from Bayfield and 1 mile from the closest Lakeshore view at Little Sand Bay. The host was friendly, attentive and ensured that the property was clean and well stocked for our stay.

Weekend getaway

This was a perfect stay for my dog and I. I was up here for and completed the 2.1 mile Madeline Island swim. It was a great event. I loved that Kristin was very communicative and thought of every amenity. That was greatly appreciated! It is cozy, 2 people and a dog max for whoever is wondering, but I definitely plan to stay here again when I’m in the area next!
