Das Zaisandenkmal am Rand von Ulan Bator, der Hauptstadt der Mongolei
Ger furniture at the Narantuul market. The furniture is light for easy lifting when the gers are seasonally moved. This bright orange is definitely the traditional colour. I wonder why? #markets #colorful
The Narantuul market is big and busy. It is open for 6 days of the week (not Tuesdays). It is especially interesting to see the uniquely Mongolian boots, belts, horse gear and bright orange ger furniture. Tourists are warned that is not safe there because of pickpockets etc. I found it to be no more scary than any big market where we should all be careful anyway. #markets
