Villa Alvino
Located within a 20.000 square meters park, with gorgeous views over the lake and mountains, Villa Alvino has been recently renovated. The villa overlooks the Borromean Gulf and islands: Isola dei Pescatori - a picturesque village populated by a community still dedicated to fishing, it hosts several typical restaurants with delicious courses of freshly caught fish from the lake; Isola Bella - hosts the majestic Borromean Palace, built in the XVII century, and its luxurious Italian garden; Isola Madre is entirely occupied by a botanic garden rich in rare plants and free animals and a palace from the XVI century, with an exhibition of historical puppets and paintings.
Villa Alvino develops over three floors.
Ground Floor: here, we find the spacious living area, entirely paved in Roman travertine, with a large hall with two seating rooms, game table, that is facing the private garden with lake views, comfortable Chesterfield leather sofas and a marble fireplace; a dining area with views over the garden and balcony. A fully functional Austrian grand piano is at our guest's disposal. From the hall, via a corridor, we can access the professionally equipped kitchen. One small bathroom with shower.
First Floor: This floor consists of the sleeping area, equipped with air conditioning and composed of 3 double bedrooms all with built in wardrobe, TV and en-suite bathrooms with shower. One of the double bedrooms has a balcony that overlooks the pool and a view of the lake. One suite with twin beds, a small living room with single sofa bed and en-suite bathroom with shower. One last twin bedroom with views over the park and en-suite bathroom with shower.
Lower Floor: the wellness area occupies the basement floor and is accessible directly from the garden via four French windows or from the travertine stairwell that descends from the living area. Here, we find a Jacuzzi and a Turkish bath, professional gym equipment, a bathroom with shower, laundry room (with washing machine, dryer and iron). Next to the wellness area, we find a room with walls of stone, TV and several sofas.
Upon request, a sixth bedroom can be available on the living floor, converting the TV relax room in a sofa double bedroom and using the adjacent bathroom (with shower and wardrobe) of the living area.
The park is laid out over several levels. The outside area has a terraced garage, a private swimming pool (12x5m), iron deck chairs, sun lounges and an external shower.
