Great Neighborhood
We recently stayed at a lovely VRBO in Baton Rouge and overall, it was a great experience. Here’s a breakdown of the pros and cons:
Pros:
Quiet Neighborhood: The house is located in a peaceful area, perfect for a relaxing stay.
Convenient Location: It's close to stores, making it easy to pick up any necessities or enjoy some local shopping.
Accessibility: The property is easy to get to, with clear directions and convenient parking.
Spacious: There was plenty of space for our family to spread out and be comfortable.
Community Pool: The community pool was a fantastic amenity, especially for the kids.
Washer/Dryer: Having a washer and dryer in the unit was very convenient for our extended stay.
Walk-in Shower: The walk-in shower was a nice touch, providing ease of access and modern comfort.
Responsive Owner: The owner was quick to respond to any inquiries or issues, which made our stay much smoother.
Cons:
Missing Toiletries: The property did not have shampoo, conditioner, or lotion, which we typically find in other VRBOs.
Lack of Normal Supplies: It was missing many of the usual supplies we expect, such as extra blankets, pillows, and cleaning supplies (dish and hand soap).
Kitchen Equipment: The kitchen lacked some essential items like a pancake or waffle maker, which the kids always look forward to.
Unstocked Fridge: There were no basic condiments like ketchup or mustard in the fridge.
No Hairdryer: A hairdryer was not provided, which was a minor inconvenience.
