HEATING AND COOLING:

Stewart Retreat features ducted heating and a reverse cycle air conditioner in the living area, complemented by a ceiling fan for warmer months. Each bedroom is separately equipped with heating and air conditioning, with bedroom 3 also including a pedestal fan and bedroom 2 fitted with an electric blanket for extra warmth on cold nights.

The sheltered entertaining deck sits at the heart of the outdoor space, offering room to gather, dine, and unwind, with a BBQ set up for evenings outside. Inside, the kitchen features a blue splashback, contemporary cabinetry with ample storage, a Nespresso machine, and a dishwasher. Each bedroom is fitted with its own heating and cooling, and the bathroom carries bronze accents, matte black finishes, and a patterned floor alongside the bathtub.



THE LOCATION:

Stewart Retreat is set a 500m walk from Bathurst's CBD on Stewart Street. Coffee is close by at The Grind (400m), Village Bakehouse (550m), Bake Table & Tea (600m), and Country Coffee (650m), while Jack Duggans Irish Pub (650m) and the Dudley Hotel (850m) offer a meal or drink nearby. Cobblestone Lane (750m) serves an Australian, European, and Asian-inspired menu in a historic building, and groceries are covered by Harris Farm Markets (400m), IGA (750m), and Coles (950m).



Machattie Park (850m), a 19th-century Victorian park with picnic spaces and walking paths, and the Australian Fossil and Mineral Museum (850m), home to a Tyrannosaurus Rex skeleton in a Gothic-style building, are both an easy walk away. Guest Access:

Guests will have access to the entire home for the duration of their stay, with the exception of a closed off room (kindly refer to the floor plan).

Other Things to Note:

PARKING: This property has free street parking only — driveway parking isn't available as the gates remain locked.



ROAD NOISE: The home is on one of the main roads in and out of Bathurst, so some road noise may be present.



STEPS: There are 2-3 steps between the alfresco area and the backyard, plus a small step onto the front verandah and another at the front door.



PETS: Pets are welcome throughout the home and in the fully-fenced backyard. Please keep pets off furniture and collect any droppings before checkout.



FAMILY AMENITIES: A portacot is available on request; cot linen isn't supplied and the portacot is provided unassembled.
