The mattress was from the 1800's, and as a senior the lazy sods never offered to carry my bag up the creeky stairs. No effort was made to upgrade the property to even the 1950's. Never replaced my coffee or cream.

We were looking for an old English character house/hotel and found it here. We loved our short stay. Clean, quiet, delicious English style breakfast, affordable room. Slept soundly. It’s roughly a 200 year old house, so expect a few rough corners. It was exactly what we wanted. Key pad self check in had me double thinking our stay but it worked flawlessly
