Staff is very kind and friendly. Michaela is a sweetheart. Chairs on deck were broken. One bed in room was broken. Very small beds 36 inches. Place needs a lot of TLC. Interested in returning when new owners will have revamped the place. Beach across the highway is a jewel.

Sweet little hidden gem on highway 17 north of Sault Ste. Marie. It’s good for a road trip stopover. There’s a small cafe, gift shop and convenience store/LCBO attached. Nice beach across the street for walks. Apple fritters are to die for and you get one free for breakfast. Room was clean and rustic, bed was comfortable.

Everything you need.

The lady at the front desk was very friendly and helpful. There is food available, it appears to be a very busy place, it is right across from a beach area. There is a gas station on site and a LCBO corner store. Overall a decent place to stop along highway 17.

Very nice place to stay! They used to have a really nice sit down restaurant which is now unfortunately gone but take out is still available. The rooms could use some updating but overall its very good for the price! Staff are all amazing

GREAT stay

The room and surrounding facilities were clean with a rustic feel. Safe spot, right by the beach. Absolutely great staff, very friendly and helpful. The included apple fritter and coffee in the morning was a sweet and welcome perk. Would 100% stay again.

We arrived and checked in without any problems. Arrived in our room and the floors were gritty/dirty, there was hair on the floor in the bathroom and someone else’s mostly used bar of soap in the shower. There were no dishcloths, tea towels or paper towels . There was also no extra bedding for the pull out futon. Both those issues were remedied quick enough however should not have been forgotten in the first place considering the room has a kitchen and pull out bed. The take-out has less and less options as the years go on. At night all of the outdoor lights are shut off and the lights on the outside of the rooms don’t appear to work so if taking your dog out for a walk- bring your own light source. We were told there are new owners this season so hopefully they are assessing what needs to be done and updating the rooms in the offseason. (The bathroom floors are a bit squishy and some minor fixes need to be made) We have been coming here for 5 years and it does seem to be showing the wear and tear.

rooms can use an update but they are very clean, and the staff are very friendly and they will do whatever to make you happy. The Apple Fritters are huge and very good. You get 1 free after a nights stay.
