Eixample is more modern and has large avenues like Diagonal and Passeig de Gràcia where luxury shops, elegant restaurants and Gaudí buildings La Pedrera and Casa Batlló can be found. Great location; poor apartment and NOT a non-smoking apartment

This apartment is well situated in a vibrant neighborhood with lots of great food nearby - including the Ramen restaurant below (for which reservations are a good idea). It also has good working A/C in the bedrooms although it is quite loud in two of the rooms. The A/C in the very small common room/kitchen isn't great. The rest isn't great. Despite claiming to be a non-smoking apartment it isn't. It reeked and there were several ash trays in the apartment. The dishwasher didn't work and there's no real coffee maker - more of a Turkish pot. There were other furniture items that were broken as well. The bathroom is the smallest and worst I've ever experienced. The shower is so incredibly small that even my super skinny 11 year old was hitting the sides. And, don't hit the hot water pipe or it will burn you. The sink is too small to wash your face in. This apartment is also loud - not just from the street noise but also in the apartment building - people in the hallways, dogs, you name it. This apartment will never be spacious but it does provide enough room for a family of 4 - it just needs some serious maintenance and sprucing and an investment in better windows.

Great location, good stay

At the center of the city, this apartment is 1/2 hour walk from the Gothic quarter, Las Ramblas, and most tourist locales. We loved that we never needed a metro. It was clean, with a well stocked kitchen, and a small cute balcony in the front. The dishwasher never worked, and the A/C had to be fixed, but there was always plenty of hot water. One bedroom blind blocked the balcony doors so they could not shut, and it is 8feet high, so the door just had to stay open a crack the entire time. This is a noisy location, with an active bar directly below on the street level. All the noise until 3am traveled up to our second floor apartment. I had to move into the back bedroom in order to sleep through the noise and street light. The property managers, Andrew and Italo, are very nice and helpful, as was the receptionist when we contacted Aparteasy before check in. A good experience, and we will try to return here on any future Barcelona trips. I recommend this place.

Der Vermieter ist sehr freundlich und die Agentur eine Straße weiter. Die ganze Abwicklung war unproblematisch. Kurtaxe hat Vermieter eingezogen, obwohl Agentur diese auch auf der Rechnung hatte. Haben wir mit der Agentur geklärt. Gute Lage im Szeneviertel Gracia. Da die Fenster noch Original von 1882 sind, bekommt man viel vom Leben auf der Straße mit. Gut, dass ein Schlafzimmer keine Fenster hat. Küche und Haustür haben eine Renovierung nötig.
