Location was great but let down by a few things :(
This property has so much potential! With some minor improvements it would be great however as it is now, it gets let down by a few things. Beds being one of the main issues. They are absolutely horrendous to sleep on in fact you would probably find better quality beds in cheap hostels. After a long day of walking, all you want is a decent nights sleep in a comfortable bed. Doesn't exist in this apartment. The double bed is actually 2 single mattresses (may be even just pieces of foam I don't know if you can call them mattresses!) put together on the worst bed base so they move away from each other in the night to the point where both foams nearly fall off the bed! The pillows are the next issue. They smell. I mean really bad. Not the pillow cases but the actual pillows, the smell is so strong it comes through the clean cases. We had to roll up a duvet from the spare room and sleep on that! Also the cleaning of the flat needs to be improved. The floors still had previous guests' hairs so not been cleaned properly. Lastly the whole building stinks of sewage including inside the flat. Location is about the best part of this apartment and the managing agent lady (Montserrat) was lovely and very helpful.

Düster und laut
Wir konnten uns nur langsam von dem Schock erholen, dass sämtliche Fenster im Apartment mit Sichtschutzfolie verklebt sind, so dass man null Ausblick hat und die Wohnung sehr dunkel ist. Die Folie soll einen vor dem grauenvollen Ausblick bewahren, den man ansonsten hätte: auf eine riesige Mauer in einem Hinterhof sowie in einen dystopisch-düsteren Innenhof. Das zweite Problem ist der Lärm - außer Verkehrsgeräuschen ist alles zu hören, was Menschen und Tiere an Lärm in einem hellhörigen Haus hervorbringen können. Besonders hervorzuheben sind hierbei nächtliches Kindergekreisch und tagsüber anhaltendes Gebell von zwei offenbar allein gelassenen Hunden. Um auch etwas Gutes zu sagen: die zentrale Lage. Und die Kommunikation mit der Vermieterin.
