the Kitchen in the room was well stocked with dishes and nicer glass bowls with lids than I have at home! This made cooking and eating dinner in the room very convenient and doable. rooms were pretty sound proof. Very happy with this reasonable priced hotel near Acadia.

Overall, the hotel was nice. The rooms were very clean and the hotel was very well kept. The only issue is that it does not have an elevator so keep that in mind. The free breakfast did not have very many healthy options, but it was not bad by any means. I could see it being a good option for other families just not for our needs.I do like how they had coffee, tea and hot chocolate available 24 hours. The service was great. The location was good too because we weren’t too far from Acadia national park. We would definitely stay there again.

This was a great hotel. It doesn't look like much from the outside, but the rooms were great. Loved having a small kitchen for simple meals. Room was clean and quiet, easy walk to a nice grocery store. Nice breakfast and cookies in the afternoon.

The gym is great with 2 peloton spin cycles, 3 treadmills, weights, bench, mats. Employees kind and helpful. The room was great! Comfy bed, plenty of space with a full-sized fridge and kitchen amenities. Very clean! The hallways smell great as well!

The location of this hotel was perfect. There was a grocery store with everything you needed within walking distance and the best home cooking at a restaurant within walking distance. Ellsworth is a cute little town and about 30 minutes from Acadia. It was nice not to be in the “busyness” of the park. The staff were excellent. The hotel, itself, is old. There is no elevator, so you need to carry your bags up the stairs if you’re staying on the second floor. The WiFi did not extend to our room even though it is listed as an amenity. The staff told us that the management knew about it and they are waiting for extenders. It rained a lot one night and the satellite TV went out. Also, our phone did not work, something that the management was also aware of. The breakfast provided was pretty good and the coffee was excellent. The location and the staff are what is great about this hotel. We had the maintenance man come the night the TV wouldn’t work. He was prompt and did all he could think of to get it up and running, but when we realized it was a dish, we knew that there was nothing in the room that was the problem.
