Second year listing in Bar Harbor.

This lovely in-town second floor apartment is located in a beautiful downtown neighborhood. Just a block away from the YMCA and a large athletic field that includes basketball and tennis courts as well as baseball and soccer fields.
The apartment is nicely appointed with two bedrooms and one full bath. There is a king bed in the master bedroom, and a queen bed in the second bedroom. There is no onsite laundry, but a laundry mat is direcyly across the street. The property also has air condition for those rare hot summer days. Also included are two smart TVs and high speed internet/Wi-Fi services provided by Spectrum.
The location of the property is perfect for exploring Bar Harbor. Park your vehicle and walk down Main St to enjoy the many shops, restaurants, and all that Bar Harbor has to offer. You can also take a short walk to the Shore Path, which provides fantastic views of Frenchman’s Bay and loverly historic ocean front estates. To explore more of the island, including beautiful Acadia National Park, hop on the free Island Explorer shuttle at the Village Green, which provides free rides around the island. If you want to explore on your own, Acadia National Park is just a short 10 minute drive. If golf is your thing, the public Kebo Valley Golf Club is a short drive away.

We were celebrating 30 years of marriage. My wife has always wanted to go to Maine. I guess a lot of places shut down at the end of October, so it felt like we had the town to ourselves. Acadia National Park was awesome.

Terrific location and great unit
This is a great place for a few days in Bar Harbor. It’s close enough to everything you want to get to, but not in the middle of the busiest areas. There are steps both inside and out so I wouldn’t recommend for elderly with those issues. Denise was easy and responsive.

Perfect Location, Comfortable
The apartment was absolutely the perfect location for our long weekend in Bar Harbor. It is an easy walk to the downtown area, and the Shore Path is only two blocks away. The apartment is cute and comfy, with everything we needed. Would definitely stay again!

We enjoyed our stay at The Nook. It was a great place to stay as we visited Bar Harbor and Acadia. It is within walking distance of everything in Bar Harbor; restaurants, shopping, theater, the shore path and Bar Island. The free, off-street parking is a plus. Denise was a great host and was very responsive during our stay.

Apartment was clean, comfortable and well stocked, lots of natural light. We loved going to the Parrilla by Havana next door which has great food and drinks and doesn’t require reservations. Handy to have laundromat across the street. FYI, no lobster pots so pick up your lobsters steamed!!

Perfect location!
