Great cottage and community right on the water! Family run spot, hosts were very friendly. Cottage was a great spot to cook a light breakfast and come back to relax in the evening. Quiet, clean spot while getting all our adventures in at Acadia park and Bar Harbor. Highly recommend!

Our experience at this property was awful from start to finish. The home had a strong mildew smell that caused headaches during our stay, and there was visible mildew that made it feel unclean and unhealthy. The odor was so bad that we ended up leaving a full day early because we couldn’t stand it anymore. The front door lock was temperamental and difficult to open, which was stressful every time we came and went. On top of that, the address listed was incorrect, giving the wrong house number and making arrival unnecessarily frustrating.The bathroom was another issue—the shower curtain wouldn’t stay in place, constantly clinging to you while showering, making it nearly impossible to wash your hair comfortably. We contacted the property manager about these problems, but no one ever came to address any of them.Overall, this was one of the worst rental experiences we’ve ever had. We would not recommend this property to anyone.
