The top floor is all about light and connection — an open-concept kitchen, dining, and living area that flows effortlessly. Floor-to-ceiling windows put the mountains on full display. Cozy up by the gas fireplace, stream your favorite shows, or dive into a board game.
Soak in the fresh mountain air during summer — two oversized sliding doors and a front screen door create an amazing cross breeze, perfectly suited to our spot perched on the edge and near the top of the mountain.
Bonus: the giant bean bag flips into extra sleeping space for guests.

Our number one criteria for a place to rent during our spring break was views… We were not disappointed!! The views from this property are by far the best we have stayed at. The property was perfectly comfortable for us and the owners were very quick to answer questions and help us out. This cute cabin is even better than described! The owner has thought of everything: a well-stocked kitchen, games, comfortable beds, even deer food (we did end up feeding a large group of deer from the balcony which was a big highlight of our trip). The view is incredible and the convenience to the slopes can’t be beat. The owner quickly responded to any questions I had and was very helpful. We will definitely be back again- highly recommmend!

Miracles happen here!

Everything is advertised correctly! Except for the fact that miracles happen here! Right in the living room pictured! We are a large family of 9 and the cabin was perfect! We loved the decks and views! The beds were comfortable! And there were plenty of towels, blankets and pillows. The hosts are available, communicate well and are very accommodating. We experienced a miracle during our stay and will treasure our moments we had at this beautiful cabin.

Views, peace and quiet

The view did not disappoint! This was our first time off the ski slope. The quiet was so worth the short walk. Having no noise or ice on the vehicle from the blowers was game changer. Just peace and beautiful from the deck, it was so quiet the deer where there daily.

Great location. Easy to get to downtown Banner Elk. Grandfather Mountain is about 30 min away. Charging port was a super handy addition as there are not a lot of chargers nearby. Works seamlessly with Tesla but will need the adapters that come with your Tesla.No A/C but we stayed in late June and it was forecasted to be very warm in the local area but the elevation, screened windows, and included fans make it a non-issue.It deserves all the 10/10 reviews.

2023 mountain trip

The house is very nice the view from deck are great. We seen deer every day. We will stay here again. Very comfortable beds sofas and kitchen equipped with all your needs. We stayed in july but early morning and night you need a jacket and pants 59 most morning at nights temperature drops quickly.
