A great place to ski Beech

We enjoy this place each Christmastime. It's got plenty of kitchen equipment for cooking and is just a few minutes from Beech. Very appropriate design. A pleasure to stay here.

This is the second time we rented this house because we absolutely love it! I was so excited to see it was available for our stay. The house is always well stocked and has everything you can think of. The new deck was a nice surprise when we pulled in, and the new blackstone as well. We will definitely be back!

Property was exactly as pictured. House was extremely clean and comfortable for 7 people. Property was also very accessible in below freezing, snow covered conditions. Checkin/checkout was very straightforward and easy.

Perfect Location

One of the best VRBO properties I have stayed. Owner was very responsive and made sure everything was going well. Location was near where we wanted to be yet quiet and quaint. Great views and house was divided perfect for 2 families and young adult kids. Well stocked kitchen and newer washer/dryers. Actually all appliances were fairly new and in great shape.

Beyond expectations!

We were at Beech Mountain for a friend’s wedding. I corresponded with host Steve Murphy numerous times and he was great. Answered all my questions and went beyond in helping add another day! Awesome! The cabin is beautiful and the view is breathtaking. Very well stocked, no keurig though. Very clean and there are cleaning supplies is needed during stay. Deer were everywhere. We will definitely be back. We highly recommend Famous Brick Oven Pizzeria and Frazier’s Tavern. Also Fred’s Backside Deli for breakfast. I cannot say enough about our stay except it didn’t last long enough!

House for Autumn at Oz

I booked this house because my friends and family had tickets to go to the Land of Oz. We were VERY impressed with sooo much! We arrived with groceries and the kitchen was completely stocked with everything we needed to cook all meals all weekend! Also, there were constant deer sightings! The kids LOVED seeing and feeding the deer! I highly recommend this place!

6 of us traveled to the Mountain Beech area to attend the Bristol NASCAR race. We had never stayed on the mountain and wanted to try a new adventure. What a time we had! What a wonderful house. Amazing House

We were in the area to attend the NASCAR race and like staying together rather than in a hotel. This house was amazing and beautiful!! The view and the area had a lot to give and see. We will rent again, for sure !!! Thank you to Steve and his family for sharing their home with others.

Gorgeous home on a beautiful mountain

The house is fabulous. Every detail is attended to. There's plenty of room, big comfy beds, hot showers w great water pressure, a cozy living room with a fireplace, a kitchen that has everything you could need, and an outdoor porch that is really in the treetops. The Beech Mountain community is fun and friendly on top of having some beautiful and challenging hiking trails. And the weather is divine-sunny, cool, and breezy. We really didn't want to leave!

Great Mountain Getaway

This place was great for our two families with kids to have a chance to get away and do some hiking. The house was wonderful and our kids enjoyed exploring the surrounding area. The photos don't do justice to the large kitchen. Highly recommend.

This home was beautiful!! It was impeccably clean and the beds were incredibly comfortable. The view was so nice. We saw deer right below the balcony. The area is so quiet. This was just an amazing place!

Great mountain top cabin

Great property. Very comfortable layout & can accommodate a large family. My kids loved the loft and spiral staircase. Our first time on Beech Mtn. We came in summer time and had a lot of day trips planned. Going up and down the winding mountain was a bit of a pain but great views and we saw a lot of deer. We enjoyed the trail at the community center. Would definitely stay again.

Snow trip

We took a last minute trip to NC to see snow and it was awesome. The cabin did not disappoint. It was roomy enough for our family as well as my brother’s family. It was easy to get to and just down the road from the ski slopes. Owner was very responsive, would use again!
