Disappointing

Lack of amenities, beach wasnt great & no water equipment available. Tennis court not in use. No information for excursions or things to do. Hotel entertainment chaotic - nkt able to book, told it would be a buffet & turned out a la carte & entertainers were hotel staff. No hot water first day & showering after that was dangerous due to water temp vsrying between cold & scalding - actually dangerous for children. Service & staff were lovely & food also very good but overall not what i expect from a resort & pretty disappointed.

Last minute booking for my family and I as we were transiting from American Samoa to Apia 5am the following morning so wanted something close to the airport. Had to wait a few hours for room to be ready but we did arrive mid morning so understandable. Shower wasn’t clean and floor wasn’t swept/mopped but clean beds. Kids enjoyed the pool and room service was great.

We stayed 2 nights here, one at each end of our trip to be near the airport which is a 5 min drive away. Close to the Savaii Island Ferry too. Lovely pool and beach area.

The premises is outstanding and love the tranquility of the beach. Close proximity to the airport is helpful. Love the massage is outdoors with nature. The sewerage system needs an upgrade. The toilets don’t flush very well both in the rooms and around the property.

We loved the view of the beach at the resort and proximity to the airport but everything at the resort is too expensive, xero pool side service. You have to pay for ice when ordering a bucket to our room. I requested side by side room since we (8of us were celebrating my 40th birthday. They couldn't accomodate us after 4 special requests months in advance. The breakfast was average and so are the coctails. We made the best of our stay regardless. They had a couple very nice staff working at the resort. Fatima that works dinner service was amazing. But our room was not cleaned properly, left us without toilet paper for a whole day and items were taken from our room. The resort has no shops to purchase any basic items like snacks or sunscreen this makes it a bit more inconvenient, since you have to get a taxi to go to shops for the smallest things. Still enjoyed the friendly staff and great weather.

Housekeeping not great, definitely not Sheraton or 5 star standard, food ok but not 3 restaurants as advertised, all 1 menu. General walkways in need of a good clean, always running out of things, towels, tomatoes, bacon, etc setting lovely but operational side lacking. Didn’t advertise any trips, didn’t get pool service, not forthcoming with information had to ask for it all. I could go on but overall not 5 Star or Sheraton standard you would expect which is sad as best setting, needs a good look at operations and what could be done better

Sheraton Samoa Beach Resort was such a perfect start to our vacation! Check in was smooth and we were offered cool wet washclothes in the heat and fresh pineapple juice! The pool area is huge and beautiful! The sunset at the beach was also lovely. Dining staff were attentive and brought beautiful tasty dishes! Only 2 regrets, their fiafia night is indefinitely on hold and that we couldn't stay longer!

I want to say it was amazing! Sadly, I can’t. There’s Island time and then there’s Sheraton Samoa time, which means everything takes forever. Waited an hour and and half for meals to be delivered, then they weren’t what we ordered. Staff just disappear from the bar area or there’s only one person on the front desk when there’s groups of people checking in or out. The beach and pool are great, just be aware that service levels are 2.5 star and although the staff are nice and friendly, you will get frustrated with the amount of time it takes for anything to actually happen. Its expensive, suggest you take plenty of snacks or you have to order off the menu, there’s no convenience store or vending machine here. Would I go back? Yes, but with the understanding that this doesn’t meet ushal Sheraton standards.
