I had such a great time in the harbor view king room at this hotel! The whole staff was just fantastic—so friendly and welcoming. We arrived a bit early, but Tina went out of her way to make sure we got into our room so we could freshen up after a long trip and head out to explore. Overall, it was an amazing experience!

Everything went well BUT I LEFT A BAG THERE AND WE ARE ON A CRUISE SHIP THAT WILL NOT LEAVE UNTIL TOMORROW DEC 15. I WILL BE THERE TOMORROW TO GET IT I HOPE. Great staff, fabulous breakfast, interesting Bar Albert on the 38 th floor.

The reception area was very small and those being check in and checked out were competing for space with those going into and out of the elevators. The breakfast area was way too small too for the amount off guests many had to sit on stools eat off a narrow window ledge facing the busy street with passers by looking in as they walked by. On a positive note all the hotel staff were excellent great service. The room too was good very comfortable. why do they not have one world news program on the TV mystified me? Adjoining the VoCo is a Holiday Inn, spacious dinning area, large reception area, new, again friendly staff and a happy hour. VoCo seriously needs to expand the reception and dining area. The friendly helpful staff at VoCo were as I saisexcelkent

Great views from rooms and modern hotel Only downside is the surrounding areas which is typical of Auckland city, seriously needing a cleanup Will still stay again because once inside, you will not be bothered by the outside area
