Treat yourself to the ultimate, romantic escape in this classic, designer Cape Cod style bach. The breath-taking sea views and magnificent sunsets are the perfect back drop for your magical getaway. Nestled into the hill side, with all day sun, this bach has everything you need for tranquility and relaxation. It is beautifully appointed, with a modern and stylish interior that flows to the large sun drenched deck, complete with sun lounger, sunshades and BBQ. Dine al fresco on balmy evenings while you take in the panoramic views. Or cosy up together in the luxurious lounge and chase away the winter blues in your private, piece of paradise .
Whilst secluded, this bach has easy access to all the amenities of Oneroa and Surfdale. A 15 minute walk will take you into the heart of Oneroa village where you can indulge in fine dining. For the adventurous, there are many great walking tracks near by. It is the ideal base to explore the wonders of Waiheke, the amazing coastal walkways, world class vineyards and white, sandy beaches.
During off season we offer three nights for the price of two from 1st May until 30th September. We also offer 7 nights for the price of 5 during the period 1st May to 30th September.

Great weekend away!
We had a fantastic time here! A really cozy cottage with everything we needed. It also had stunning views overlooking one of the bays in Waiheke - the deck was the perfect morning coffee spot! Richard was a fantastic host and our check-in process very smooth. We'll be back!

Perfect Retreat
The Black Bach is a fantastic little property in a beautiful and peaceful location with amazing views. We enjoyed 3 nights here and could happily have stayed much longer. The house was exceptionally clean and the decor is lovely. We found the house to be well equipped and very well thought out for a small space. We really appreciated the covered deck and spent a lot of time out there - the outdoor heater was a nice touch and enabled outdoor dining in the evening. Richard very kindly dropped off a welcome bottle of Waiheke wine and the whole booking/ checking in process was very smooth. We didn’t have a car for this trip which was fine for us as we like walking around the island, but for anyone with mobility issues, walking to the village or bus stop could be a problem. Also, the bedrooms are very light early in the morning so if you are used to blackout blinds your dreams of a long sleep in might be dashed! On the other hand, sitting in bed with a coffee and the windows to the deck open is the perfect start to the day at any time. Would love to stay here again.
