Lovely clean, modern room. Nice quick check in. Allowed to have a late check out which was much appreciated. Had a bit of a rough ride at Quest Highbrook our last stay...but this has restored our loyalty as our go to for business accommodation in the area.

Unpleasant and unhelpful

Advertised available parking - it’s $20 daily and only 16 allocations for the hotel. So none available when we checked in. So because no parking we couldn’t access the hotel without a long dreary walk through the narrowest paths… Construction blocking the entry so must go through this narrow maze over bark, curbs and tarmac before getting to the entry, and all in reverse to get to car. No shelter from rain or elements either… Blizzard when checking out, and we had to walk through all of the construction maze wet and windy. It’s about a 30-40 metre obstacle course! You would think reception would offer to open the garage parking access to load vehicle. No chance! Despite having do not disturb on door, didn’t stop reception from calling. We had to take phone off the hook… bed rolls around, so you can’t even sit up and lean on the head board or the bed rolls away from the wall… clothes dryer spreads lint all over the bathroom when run. Receptionist had no interest in being helpful when we checked in. I asked for 2 keys, and had to come back to hotel after realising she had only issued 1… deceptive marketing and they don’t care when you bring it up at check in. Its just tough luck… I was offered to cancel booking rather than trying to offer an alternative. Because its so convenient to just look for another hotel on the day we actually arrive to check in… horrible service and very unpleasant and unhelpful. We were an inconvenience to them and we were made to feel just that way.

Very clean but some small hassles

The hotel is a great business hotel but there is currently a lot of construction outside the main door and some noise. This is temporary for a few months I would assume.We also had a bit of an issue with getting our VIP upgrade and were put in one of their smallest rooms for the first 2 nights but was sorted by management the for the final night.

Property was handy to where I needed to go. Once the work directly around the property is completed it will be better. Our room was tired, bed was very firm and shower was missing tapware accessories that should be replaced / maintained. I thought it was over priced for the quality.

The check in was very efficient and informative. The room was everything that was needed. Clean, cozy and good view. The only let down was the front entry into the property due to construction going on out front. No fault of the hotel. The parking under the building was easy and spacious and made it easier for entry and exit with the property. Would recommend this property to anyone wanting a very good property to stay at.

Staff are very friendly. The room has a nice layout and has everything we needed during our 2 night stay. It was spotless. The corridor smells nice and fresh. The building construction next to the hotel didn’t really bother us. FreeWe will definitely stay here again.
