Hotel staff was welcoming and friendly! The hallways to the rooms was hot and humid but the rooms were cool. Lemon and cucumber water was available near the dining area. Hotel was very clean. Our room needed a new bed. Lots of parking available. The area around the hotel was not the greatest but thats not a hotel problem. Theres also no food around the hotel.

The room was very clean and tidy. However, the air conditioner was not very cold. We had it set to 68° and both of us were very warm the entire time. We're from Mobile so heat isn't a big deal, but when it's cooler outside than the a/c then that's a problem especially when you can't open the windows. The Keurig machine was nonfunctional as well, but that's not really a big deal. The toilet ran 24/7 and it was really loud. I tried jiggling the handle to get it to stop, but it never worked. I don't know if this is a valid problem, but the hotel didn't provide any handsoap. It was only shampoo/conditioner and body lotion. We also didn't get a trashcan for the bathroom and no trash bags for the trashcan in the room. There wasn't an ice machine that we could find either.

Dangerous

The walk in shower was poorly maintained. Continuous dripping of water. When used the entire bathroom floor was flooded making a hazardous situation. The staff were friendly and courteous. The facility was dated and a little shabby but clean.

In *desperate* need of a refresh

This hotel has been used A LOT, obviously. The highway noise is *INTENSE* so much so that ear plugs did not block it. My room smelled of cigarettes and mildew. There was an obvious water stain in the hallway near my room that leads me to believe there was a recent flood. The carpet inside the room was stained, the desk chair was missing, the chair and ottoman were filthy, and there was some odd substance (looked like fecal matter, but seemed to be mastic) in the bottom of the shower. I will not stay here again, nor will I recommend any colleagues stay here. There are much better options in the area.
