Private Peninsula Cabin 15 minutes from downtown Lakewood, WI

Water water everywhere! Enjoy panoramic lake views as you vacation in this one of a kind property. Perfect for a “Glamping Experience” for the whole family. Pack your sleeping bags and yard games!!!! Your able to leave the cabin and drive right to the the Oconto or Marinette trails on your UTV or ATV since your right on the boarder of the 2 counties. This is one of most private and quiet cabins you will find. Unless there's someone on the lake, you won't see anyone from the front yard of the cabin. The neighbors are set up on the hill behind you. This is a private lake with no public boat launch, so we have a boat with a electric trolling motor available to use for exploring or going fishing on this 78 acre lake. We also have an canoe to get out on the lake and go fishing on too. There are a lot of things to around the area being that we're between Crivitz and Lakewood. There are 4 restaurants with in 10 mins from the cabin. Come stay and play or just relax and read a book. Thank you for looking.

Relaxing
Stayed with my wife and two boys and really enjoyed it. It's secluded and quiet. Not many people on the lake, or least that you can see. Sat out by firepit every night and relaxed. Everything you need is within 20 minutes, but you're still "away from it all". Nice place. would go back.

Private and peaceful
My husband and I enjoyed our week at this cabin. As others have mentioned, the ongoing dredging in the lake and the abundance of water plants covering much of the lake are somewhat negative factors, but when the dredger isn't operating, it's tremendously quiet and peaceful. It was great to have the boats available to go out on the lake. The hosts were responsive when we had questions. We were disappointed that the trolling motor didn't work, and one oarlock was also coming out, so had to use canoe paddles to get out and fish. My husband notified the owner of these issues so hopefully they will have been rectified for future customers.

Peaceful and comfortable
We were looking for a quiet place to unwind and this place fit the bill. The furnishings are dated but we knew that from the pictures. There was no internet or cable tv but they do have a nice tv with antenna channels and lots of movies. The power went out due to a strong storm and the owner stayed in touch with the energy company, messaging us updates. The lake has LOTS of lily pads. They were dredging in front of the cabin while we were there. A bit annoying but that wasn't anyone's fault.

Great!
That’s the only thing that wasn’t awesome about our state. Was the guy doing maintenance to the lake it was a constant pump on his pontoon all day long and sometimes into early evening, but other than that it was awesome.

Lovely small house, beautiful view. Very tranquil and quiet. We saw some geese on the last day and they had their "teenagers" with them. We had an issue with the "lock" called the owners who were really nice and helped us Highly recommend the place. The driveway was a bit of a surprise. One thing that would have been helpful was to have a "book" of restaurants, attractions, other things for the local area. I had contacted the host prior and she gave me great recommendations. good cell phone service

Well stocked kitchen with nice dishes, plenty of pots & pans and nice selection of utensils! Overall, a clean and comfortable Northwoods Cabin with nice yard and fire pit! Lake has limited access from property as not an easy launch area for canoes or kayaks and no swimming from shore or pier. However, the water was covered in beautiful Water lilies!
