- The cabin is open for business and the area is improving daily. The cabin was not affected by the hurricane and is as beautiful as it has always been. The cabin was shut down due to the road closure and that now has a timeline of the end of February for opening
- The fireplace is decorative only and is not available for use
- This 2-story cabin requires stairs for access
- Your safety matters. This property features a dual light/camera system, installed to provide visibility for guests arriving after dark. The camera does not look into any interior spaces. The camera actively records video when motion is detected by the device (including devices linked to the camera such as the alarm system’s motion detector)
- The cabin is located in the Blue Ridge Mountains. The service on your phone can be spotty sometimes especially at the entrance to the gate into our subdivision. Please print off a copy of the pre-stay sheet or screenshot the info to your phone that has the gate code, address, and code to the front door. Once you connect to the WiFi at the house you will have better coverage

Our favorite family spot

This was the third time that we’ve stayed here. Randy and Beth are fantastic and have made each trip a great experience. The cabin is comfortable and you feel right at home the minute you walk in. Our kids have fallen in love with it and look forward to coming back many more times! Can’t wait to visit again!

A great weekend away

We stayed at the house over Labor Day weekend with our young daughter and some friends with two kids. The house was perfect for kids, close to the private beach, and a short drive from the public Lake Lure beach and town. We loved eating outside, playing in the yard, and swimming in the lake. Thanks for a great stay!

This property was the perfect getaway at the perfect time for the changing of the leaves. The days were sunny and bright, while the leaves were vibrant. Cozy cabin was the most relaxing site to sit on the porch with a cup of coffee or glass of wine and let time stop for the moment. I highly recommend this cabin for location, accommodations, host communication, neatness…all around beauty!

We had tickets to Lake Lure Annual Dance Festival . We were 5 Miles from it. Very convenient. Beautiful home. Perfect for the mountains. We loved it.

Beautiful place

The cabin is very comfortable and absolutely gorgeous inside and out. The big tub is luxurious and the outdoor kitty is adorable. We thought the cabin actually overlooked the lake, based on the photographs posted for the property - but it wasn't a big deal. The beautiful waterfall and the lake are within very easy walking distance. Squirrels and deer are frequent visitors. All in all - very happy with it!

From the time we arrived at the cabin, which had been prepared to welcome us with soft music and ambient lighting, we felt like we were home! This is an immaculate and well-appointed comfortable property. The location is convenient to entertainment, restaurants, and even a grocery. Nice quiet cabin in a neighborhood

Cabin was older, but nice with everything we needed. The neighborhood was quiet and peaceful. Our only disappointment was not being able to use the fireplace. One of the main resons to stay in a cabin is to have a nice cozy fire in the morning with breakfast or in the evening with hot cocoa. Taking away that option, left out a important part of the experience.
