Very serene
We really enjoyed our time in Aschau very much.
You reach the little “village” by driving up a small winding road. The apartment is located separately from the main house on the second floor.
The apartment is spacious, and exactly like it is described.
It was very clean, the beds were comfortable, and overall it is very quiet there! Perfect place to relax and reenergize.
You have a stunning view onto the “ Kempenwand”, just as the apartment name suggests.
It is a perfect base for all the wonderful places you can visit. From hikes in the mountains to strolls in the quaint villages, to a quick trip into Austria.
We really enjoyed our stay there, and would definitely come again.
The only thing negative I could mention is, that the kitchen has really poor lighting, especially above the cooktop, and is equipped with only the absolute necessity on what you need. You will have to bring all spices, condiments etc, if you plan to cook, or you have to buy it all.
Also towels were very limited. It would have been nice to have at least one extra in the bath, and in the kitchen.
The bath is very spacious, though the shower is somewhat small, and no place to put your shower gel etc.
But all this were merely nuisances.
