Revisiting Aschaffenburg after 50 years.

Very comforting room and hotel. Fabulous breakfast in a warm and cosy restaurant. . Enjoyed the Saturday Market only a couple of blocks away.

Zum Goldnen Ochsen was the perfect place to stay. It is an easy walk to the train station and a great spot to explore the city from. Very comfortable beds and great breakfast. Highly recommend.

The property is certainly an old school European style regional hotel. Small and quaint. The “executive business” room was more of a dorm room with a single twin bed. It had a safe, which was good, but the locks are keyed. Shower had good pressure and plenty of hot water. No microwave in room and minibar fridge was super small.
