The boats to reach the magnificent Borromean Islands and the mystic convent in Santa Caterina del Sasso leave from Arona.
You can reach Arona even by train (railway station 1 km far from the house): our town is on the line Milan-Domodossola and is an important junction for the trains to Switzerland.
