Whirlwind weekend..

While we weren’t at the cabin much, as we were in town for a wedding and all the associated events, while there, it was very comfortable. We arrived to a nice clean place. Comfortable beds and furnishings. Plenty of parking for our three vehicles. We would definitely stay here again.

The floors were FREEZING! Obviously it’s meant for summer accommodations and it would be a great place to stay. Wear thick socks or keep shoes on in the winter and you’re fine.

Girls weekend

This cabin is wonderful!! It was so clean and inviting, we enjoyed it immediately. The beds are comfortable, there’s plenty of seating in the open floor plan. Kitchen is well stocked with lots of open space in the cupboards for your own food. We spent a lot of time on the private patio. We had 5 women for a long weekend and the only issue we had was not enough mirrors when we were all getting ready, definitely not a deal breaker! We hope to make this an annual event!!

Wonderful Okoboji Home

This cabin/home was perfect for us! We had other family staying within a couple of blocks and they all raved how nice this home is. We had ample room to spread out and the layout was perfect. Clean, newer upgrades, furniture felt like new. This is definitely a place we would like to rent in future visits to Okoboji.

our kids said it was very quiet and loved the open concept of the kitchen living room and patio to sit outside. also really enjoyed the waterpark because it was a hot day and there are areas of the pool for all ages. would like to come back!

Loved the cabin overall. Pros big kitchen, private patio and yard, comfortable beds. Cons: Bed shams and comforters should be washed which they state they do not wash between guests, kinda gross. No beach towels provided, other cabins have always provided them in past years.

Wasnt expecting cleaning assignment

First, beds were not as listed. We specifically picked the property because of a trundle bed, we a had a child with us. Nope, not there so i went out to buy an air mattress. Also, had no idea that despite the originally disclosed cleaning fee, i would be threatened with additional fees if I didn't start the towels in washer and strip the beds. If i was given this info PRIOR to cancelation date, it would be ok. But i did not get these assignments until the day before check-in. Also, host made s big deal about booting us out if they received noise complaints during quiet hours, 10pm till 8am. No problem for us, but the last night we had a big party going on behind us, till 2 am. When i messaged the host at 10:30 to ask how a noise complaint can be initiated, i never got a response. So it was a tough night for us. The property was nice and clean when we arrived, so good that.

Wonderful stay!

Location was close to the water park and the lake. Property was clean and nicely furnished. The air fryer was a great amenity, but lacking a few kitchen supplies we wish were there. The water pressure could have been better but overall we would stay here again!
