Good hotel with free easy parking. The twin room was a good size and quiet. Staff were friendly but they could clear your table as they pass by. An extra coffee machine would help at breakfast. Food was good. Location is good as away from the busier areas such as La Massana.

Noisy guests at the hotel that the management did nothing to stop. Revving motorcycles late at night and very early in the morning for no reason.

Perfect location and great service

Excellent location, just a few minutes walk from the main gondola and all the restaurants and bars which are great for apres! Staff really friendly - great service. Rooms are a little tired and could do with a refresh but overall very clean and comfortable.

A great discovery!

We stayed here to go walking. It was brilliant with almost direct access to the national park. The breakfasts were superb

Lovely hotel with friendly staff. Food left a lot to be desired, especially the entrails! Bland, tepid, uninteresting, have had better school dinners but there are lots of restaurants fairly close by which are fine.

Comfortable Lodge

We have stayed at Xalet Verdu for short stays on several occasions and different seasons. It´s a no-frills but comfortable place to stay. The rooms have always been very clean and in good condition. The buffet meals are not extensive in choice but are very good value. The hotel is at the top of the village and is a short walk from restaurants, cafes and bars, shops and the gondola ski-lift to the Pal-Arinsal section of the Vallnord ski area. There is a private free parking area or a garage is available at extra cost. Recommended for a budget-concious family stay.

Located 10 kms from the capital it is a hotel of an excellent standard on the main road however parking is in the open on the road or an unsealed allotment.

Excellent value for money

The young gentleman who works at the counter is super helpful. The older manager had no customer service skills and screamed us out of the hotel when we showed him our prepaid hotels.com receipt, saying it wasn't his problem and we must pay. Beware. Location was great for our summer holiday, we could hear the river outside our window.

A great place to stay in Arinsal

I can't say enough nice things about this hotel. We had a lovely room with beautiful views, the bathroom was wonderful with a soaker tub/shower. My only complaint would be that the room had 2 twin beds but I imagine there are rooms with queen beds. The people running and working at the hotel were amazing. The man who runs the place (perhaps even owns it?) was so helpful with our need to have documents printed/scanned. They even took the time to enquire about my health after learning I was ill. This place was a super value with free WIFI and breakfast, which was quite good. The also offer some supper choices and we ended up eating there each night, the food was great and really reasonably priced. They also have free parking. A great choice if you're doing any hiking in the area. Highly recommended.

Quiet location in scenic Arinsal.

Arinsal is situated well away from the commercial area of Andorra, but is well sign-posted. Great location for seeing the scenic mountain areas, particularly the road leading through Ordino and El Serrat and beyond. Lake Tristaina well worth the walk/easy climb. The road to Pal and the Spanish border is fabulous. Not great food at Hotel Xalet Verdu, but adequate. Down the road on the right is an Argentinian restaurant called SURF, and they served the biggest steak and lamb meals we have ever seen. Great value. Our room in the hotel looked down the valey are was excellent.

Clean hotel and helpful staff. We found secure parking (for a fee) was very useful for our motorcycle. A little out of the way if not being used for skiing but no real problems as other towns were a short distance away by road. Would return again.
