Amazing experience, midweek offseason, deserted!

What a great find! Gorgeous location on a remote beach a few miles from the nearest village down a rickety cobbled street. We stayed midweek in September, there were perhaps three other rooms of the 48 occupied, we basically had the place to ourselves. This meant they didn't staff either of the two bars, though you could always get a drink if you asked at reception. It also meant personalised breakfast, a bountiful supply of fruits, breads, cakes and savouries, adjusted for any special requirements such as me as a vegetarian. The room was spotlessly clean and well maintained. In fact the maintenance of the whole place was extraordinary - there were usually two or three workers doing maintenance all the time, painting the eves, fixing the lights, mowing the lawn, sweeping the coconut flowers - the place is in phenomenally good condition thanks to the care taken by the property. Pool is nice, again maintained spotlessly. And the beach is lovely, and it's all yours - there's nothing for miles around. No wifi, which is pretty poor in 2018. That's the only complaint I can think of. Service was exemplary, my Brazilian friend said it's way better than you usually get in Brazil. As a same-sex couple we were treated with respect and no hint of prejudice. Just book yourself in here. Stay a few days, relax completely. We loved it.

Hotel bom para quem está a trabalho e não é muito exigente. Localização boa, bem próximo a orla de Atalaia, porém instalação simples. Banheiro simples; Cama até confortável; Estrutura do quarto bem simples; Café da manhã mediano; Sem estacionamento, o carro fica longe do hotel pois não é permitido estacionar na porta do hotel.

Infelizmente não foi uma boa experiência, café da manhã ruim com coisas amanhecidas, sempre as mesmas opções, frutas duras e aguadas, quartos velhos tivemos que trocar porque primeiro o ar condicionado alagava o quarto, depois o banheiro não tinha box e tomar banho alagava tudo, só não trocamos maia vezes pois a recepção disse que os quartos eram parecidos, então sair de um com uma coisa quebrada e ir para outro é perda de tempo, apenas 1 tomada disponível nos 2 quartos ficamos, falta de secador de cabelo nos quartos, falta inclusive de cobertores, enfim, muito ruim. Não digo que fomos mal atendidos pelos funcionários, mas não digo tb que buscaram fazer algo para melhorar a nossa estadia, talvez seja porque sabem que o hotel "está ruim das pernas".

O café da manhã é ótimo! Mas a limpeza, a manutenção dos quartos e o ar condicionado não funcionam muito bem… o banheiro deixa muito a desejar quanto os azulejos e o espelho, o quarto é amplo mas o frigobar não congela muito bem e o ar não consegue gelar o quarto. A descarga do banheiro não funciona corretamente e mesmo reclamando na recepção nada foi feito pra resolver… decepcionante! Não volto e não recomendo.
