Everything was perfect. They had it decorated for Christmas when we arrived. Our daughter got married at The Upton House which was only ten minutes away. Our family was able to stay here and be close by for all the festivities. We’d love staying here again when visiting our daughter.

Family Wedding

We needed an extra place for family coming into town for a wedding. This was a beautiful, clean and comfortable place that was far better than a hotel. It is located next to the city park and is in a nice quiet neighborhood. The local manager was very friendly and professional.

Great stay overlooking the city park!

The property was clean and well furnished! High ceilings, beautiful master bath, indoor and outdoor gas fireplaces made it feel very luxurious! Kids fished in the public pond right across the street and had a blast! Easy walk to the softball fields, walking trail, disc golf and public pool!

Great home for a family visit

We stayed in Arab to visit grandparents. The home is in a great location, right across from the park. We walked over for a picnic and a walk one day. The house is very well appointed. We had everything we needed and more. Owner was super responsive when we had an issue with wifi, and it got fixed quickly. We will definitely stay there again when we head back to Arab.

Perfect house and perfect location

The house is amazing, very well kept. The location is perfect if you are looking for a nice quiet getaway. Very easy commute to Huntsville, Madison, lake Guntersville, the caverns etc. The park across the street from the house is very nice, has a fishing pond, playground, and plenty of open space. The town of Arab is so peacefull and has so many great restaurants for such a small town. If you stay here you have to try the steaks at Siera's Mexicanismo, they are sooo good! We will definitely try and stay here every time we come to the Huntsville area!

We stayed at the blue house for two nights for a family gathering. The house is newly built, beautifully decorated and very comfortable. The city park is right across the street. We have full access of the 3-bedroom house including the garage. Truly a gem! Everyone enjoyed our stay and hope to return again.

Fantastic Home Perfect Location

New property with all the comforts of home - even throw blankets to cuddle up on the couch in the cool mornings and evenings. Backporch fireplace enjoyed by the men at the end of the day. Husband enjoyed a round of disc golf at the park across the street. Beautiful setting. Peaceful location. Family in Arab to celebrate my aunt's 90th birthday, so this was perfect location to house us out of town family. So appreciated the trash bags, detergent, and dishwashing detergent... we didn't have to make an extra trip to the store. We'll be back!

Exceptional rental!

We can’t say enough good things about our time at The Blue House. The house was beautifully decorated and came with many extras that aren’t usually included when renting properties for short stays. Even though we encountered an unusual snow/ice event during our visit that extended our stay, the home’s family friendly floor plan, cozy fireplace, various flat screened televisions, comfortable beds, two car enclosed garage, and the many thoughtful extras made our stay a good one. At warmer times, the home’s location would also provide for a great getaway. The close proximity to Arab City Park (playgrounds, trails, swimming pool, splash pad, sports complex, and more) and being only a few minutes from Lake Guntersville (beautiful mountain scenery, parks, shopping, nightlife, water sports and world class fishing) provides opportunities for everyone to enjoy. We had an easy check-in/check-out and our on-site rental contact host couldn’t have been more helpful or kind! FIVE STARS without question!!!

Poison Ivy and Sewage smell

This is the second time staying at this house. The first my Uncle booked through bookings.com in 2023. Just the space we need. Very quiet neighborhood. The park across the street is just wonderful. The convenience of seeing family that live in town and close is so great. Very clean, has so much personality. Things that could and need to be altered. The guest bathroom’s ( not the master bathroom) toilet isn’t properly screwed to the floor and wobbles when sitting. It lets sewer gasses into the house. The tree in the back yard has poison ivy growing up it and we had a scare when one of the family visited us with their twins that are about 18 months old when one went to the tree and patted the tree on the poison ivy. Had to quickly wash his hands with soap and water. We plan on staying here again next year if still available.
