Located in one of the most sought after areas in Apollo Bay, base yourself at Anchorage as the mainstay for your beachside getaway.
A rare property on the ocean side of the Great Ocean Road providing ready access to the ocean and river. Stroll around the corner to the golf course, make use of easy beach and river access just 50 metres from Anchorage and explore the rockpools along the Point Bunbury Beach towards the Apollo Bay Harbour. The famous Apollo Bay Fishermen’s Co-op is a short walk from Anchorage, with the best of Apollo Bay's cafes, pubs and restaurants all within a leisurely stroll. With front row ocean views, watch the sun setting over the Marengo coastline from the deck. Relax on the balcony soaking in the ocean views, sea spray and salty aroma, feeling like you’re on the beach without even leaving home.
Located next to the beach access for the Barham River mouth, this is a wonderful sandy beach area for children and pets to play around in the shallows. The close location allows for easy access back and forth between the house and the beach, and this river mouth beach area is popular for activities such as paddleboarding and fishing. Bring your kayak or stand up paddleboard (SUP) to explore the tranquil Barham River along the backwater or upstream towards the Otways. Fish in Barham River, surf-fish along the rugged Mounts Bay beach, drop a line off the Harbour’s marina or breakwater or even try your luck in the rockpools.
Across two levels, the house accommodates up to 9 people in 4 bedrooms - 2 bedrooms upstairs, 2 bedrooms downstairs. The living, dining and kitchen area is upstairs and leads onto the ocean deck with Weber BBQ. The kitchen has all amenities for holiday cooking, including a dishwasher and coffee machine.
The main bedroom is upstairs and features a king size bed, reverse cycle air conditioner, and ensuite with double shower. A second bedroom upstairs has a tri-bunk, with a double on the bottom and a single bed on top.
Downstairs is the second living area with Smart TV and two further bedrooms - a queen bedroom and the 4th bedroom has two single beds. These are serviced by a family bathroom with bath, shower and separate toilet. The laundry leads onto the side yard with clothes line. The house has a secure garage for storage of your beach gear, paddleboards, surfboards, bikes or fishing rods, as well as an outdoor shower to wash off the sand.

Pets Well behaved, house trained dogs are welcome inside the house. There is also a secure fenced grassed yard to the side of the house, which has shade from trees and a kennel. The location provides ready access to Apollo Bay's dog-friendly beaches.
