This elegant house is nestled in a hill near Gavalahori in the Apokoronas district in northwest Crete. From there you have a spectacular view of the sea, the White Mountains and the landscape. A picturesque terraced garden with native plants extends around the house.
The house has a spacious living and dining area with access to the terrace.
2 double bedrooms, 1 sofa bed, 2 bathrooms and one of them is en-suite.

The floor of the living area from the house is completely tiled. There is air conditioning in the living room and in the two bedrooms, which is easy to use. It has central oil heating and radiators in the living room and in the bedrooms, a fireplace in the living area. All windows and patio doors have double glazing, fly screens and security shutters. The entrance area is covered by a glass porch. The living / dining area leads to a tiled terrace, which is covered by a pergola and offers a wonderful view of the White Mountains and especially to the sea. In the back of the house there is a covered terrace with access to a utility room with a washing machine and a sink.

Our house Kukuweia can be reached in about 5 minutes by car from the beautiful sandy beach Almyrida, on a romantic country road, up a small mountain.
Once there, you have an exceptional panoramic view of the turquoise sea and the garden, which is laid out in terraces with local olive trees, herbs and flowers.
If you look at the sea, you can see how large cruise ships go to the port of Chania and depart again.
The house is nestled in the mountain and makes this view of the White Mountains, green hills and the sea so unique.
Here you immediately immerse yourself in relaxation and everything that seemed important loses its importance. The tranquility of nature, the light breeze from the sea guarantees 100% pure relaxation.
From the house Kukuweia you can take beautiful small to large hikes that are varied and you will come across a small village where locals are always friendly and it is always worth taking a break.
If you want to be among the people, you can quickly drive from the house to Almyrida, which is known for its clean and well-maintained sandy beach and promenade, as well as the great variety and selection of culinary restaurants.
To experience the nightlife of the Cretans, it is worth the 30-minute drive to Chania. It is a young and lively city that has managed to protect the history and culture of Crete and to combine it with the present.

The special thing about this house is the sensational view of the sea and nature, regardless of whether you are in the living area, looking out of the window or on the terrace of the house. The large terraced garden is lovingly designed and integrated into its natural environment. There are some 100 year old olive trees. Large bushes of kitchen and medicinal herbs such as rosemary, oregano and thyme grow. Domestic cypresses, laurel trees, native shrubs grow.

The beach at Almyrida is only 5 minutes away. Almyrida has mini markets, pharmacies, bakeries and many cafes and taverns along the coast. The small coastal town of Kalives is a 10 minute drive from the property, and has a great sandy beach and all the necessary shops and amenities. The distance to the center of Chania and the airport are about 35 - 40 minutes by car.

The house can be reached by car in 5 minutes or 20 minutes on foot from Almaryda beach.
