With stunning sea views across the Forth to May Isle, May Isle is one of five homely cottages in a terraced row. Just 5 minutes walk to Crail and The Cow Shed wedding venue and with a private secure garden, May Isle is perfect for families, pet owners and wedding guests. There is also a shared children's play area and small football pitch. Enjoy a stroll around the picturesque village and harbour (one of the most photographed harbours in Britain) and visit the well known Crail Pottery, cafes and shops. Crail is ideally placed to enjoy all the villages in the East Neuk of Fife and Fife Coastal Path with St Andrews and it's famous university, golf courses and beaches only a 15 minute drive away.

Please note that the walk to The Cow Shed is on a farm track so a torch and comfy shoes may be needed

May Isle does have steps throughout the property, and comprises of:

* Large sitting room with dining area and traditional open fire
* Fully equipped kitchen with breakfasting area
* Master bathroom with shower over bath and WC
* 1 twin bedroom (cannot be altered)

I am terrified of spiders and they were all over the place. I couldn’t get the microwave to work. It was a beautiful view from the front yard but I didn’t realize how far it was from the town as I didn’t have a car. Thank you

Lots of things to love about Crail and this cottage. Great location, clean and tidy and peaceful rural location.Host was easy to communicate with and responsive. We had a problem with the shower unit and i called the support team and they were also very responsive with an engineer arriving within 30mins; engineer was courteous, friendly and efficient as was the support coordinator.Regards comparative experience of similar units the contents were a bit "no frills" ie no extra bedding, throws, blankets or towels; likewise a wood burner but only 1 piece of wood! - admittedly it was Sept - though our experience is to leave at least enough wood for one fire. There is a washing machine but no washing tabs; only 1 binbag, no welcome pack eg wine, biscuits etc Small but goodwill gestures. All in all a great vacation experience, very peaceful, parking simple and roomy, easy access and no keys to forget! Would definitely return and/or the host's properties elsewhere.
