Loved that although there are not any private beaches on St. Lucia, this is the closest thing to private you can get. The staff is extremely helpful and kind. The only thing to note is that while the paddle boarding and the kayaks are free to use, the snorkeling equipment is $8.00 per person for rental for the day. However, loved the resort and feel like this is a place i would recommend and visit again.

I liked the room and the outdoor shower was great. The staff & food at the resort were amazing. My only dislike was the room did not have an adapter to plug in our cell phones, curling irons and shaver. I had to wait for one to become available ( thank goodness it was only a few hours).

Ti Kaye Resort

Pros: Everything
Cons: None
Location: This was the one thing that was difficult, as it's on the mountain(volcano) side of the island, so it took an hour or more to get to most places.
Everything there was great!!! Didn't really like the steps to the beach, but I knew, very well, about them before we went and you could always have the bell hop take you to the beach. The staff was fantastic!!! Repeat...Fantastic!!! Cottage and plunge pool were awesome!!! Snorkeling and scuba diving was great. Excursions were easy to book and fun. Limited number of guests also made the experience more enjoyable. No crowds. Looking forward to going back again!!!

Stairs, stairs and more stairs

Pros: Cottage views, hotel staff and continental breakfast were amazing.
Location: Very limited
Cliff side rain forest setting so quite serene and quiet. However cottages along ocean access require numerous stairs (166 to the beach) which precludes leisure strolls to the water during dusk and dawn. Access road to the main roads is nearly inaccessible with huge potholes and washed out areas making travel to other parts of the island more than challenging. With such a captive audience, pool side workout center and beach amenities are very limited or in need of upgrading.

Wonderful hotel!

Ti Kaye is a wonderful resort! The other resorts were close to touristy areas which was something my husband and I are not into. We loved the overall seclusion and remoteness. We took a great liking to the resort staff - Andre, Keagan, Lester and Jessica. They were very friendly and we loved our trip even more with the awesome hotel staff. My only negatives would be the road coming in is falling apart. Very bumpy, and you definitely need 4 wheel drive. Also I think they should sell sun block in the resort store. They sell everything but this, and the sun in St Lucia is particularly strong. We had to drive 30 minutes to the store to pick some up.

Best Resort on the Island

If you're looking for a secluded 5 star experience for 1/3 of the price of the luxury resorts on St. Lucia look no further. Even staying in the standard room feels like being treated like royalty. From the welcoming crew up to the hotel manager every employee is energetic and clearly loves what they do. Every employee is clearly treated well, and their happiness at work translates well to the incredible atmosphere at the resort. Ti Kaye provides a real escape from the large all inclusive resorts clogged with people and watered down pina coladas. You are 150 steps from one of the top two snorkeling lagoons on St. Lucia. Because the island is small, the private location of the resort does not hinder your ability to get a good feel for the entire island. The restaurant at the resort is world class and you will never be disappointed by the variety or the quality of the food. We went fishing for Mahi Mahi in Castries and came back with an entire fish to be prepared for dinner. The meal was prepared by the head chef personally, who had an entirely different menu prepared for the evening, and came out as one of the most incredible dishes we have ever had. To top it, we were not charged a penny for the main course because we had provided the resort with so much fresh Mahi Mahi. We were looking for a vacation that provided adventure and intrigue every day we were there, but opportunities to relax, socialize, and enjoy the company of others who were there for the same reason.

Just what we were looking for!

Ti Kaye was perfect! It's a smaller, more remote resort with a wonderfully friendly and helpful staff. They make sure to provide plenty of activities and tours to keep you as busy as you want or you can choose to relax by the pool or beach. The wine tasting was so fun and Cleus is amazingly knowledgeable. The rooms are beautiful with an outdoor shower and large porch. It was just what we were looking for!

Wonderful honeymoon

Pros: Free Internet, Quiet
We just came back from our honeymoon at Ti Kaye and it was a wonderful experience. We were looking for an anti-Sandals resort and were very pleased with Ti Kaye. From the moment we arrived the staff was very friendly and being that the resort is relatively small they had no problem remembering who we were at what room we were staying in. The 160+ stairs to the beach took some getting used to but it was worth it not to have to go on an excursion to get some good quality snorkeling in. All the food was delicious from the 5 course seafood dinner we had the night we arrived to the homemade chips we had with lunch. The only negative I would point out is that the service at dinner was a little slow. I don't know if its because we went during rainy season or it's just the way St. Lucia's lifestyle is but a few nights we seemed to wait forever to get our wine and food. But, since we were on our honeymoon and in no rush it wasn't unbearable. I would definitely recommend this resort if you are looking for a resort to experience the Caribbean and not just to party with 1000 other newlyweds.

Across the board- Ti Kaye was incredible. It truly is a slice of paradise.

Pros: Free Internet
Cons: not a lot of choices for where to eat
Across the board- Ti Kaye was incredible. It truly is a slice of paradise. We visited St. Lucia and Ti Kaye for a little over a week for our honeymoon. Every aspect of our trip met and exceeded our high expectations. There are so many different things to rave about- the friendly and personable staff, the breathtaking view from your personal balcony overlooking the ocean, the crystal clear water for snorkeling and kayaking, and the fresh seafood. For our honeymoon, we were looking for a place that would provide us with an oasis of calmness, while still providing us with an 'authentic' St. Lucian experience. We wanted to feel like we actually experienced the island and weren't just 'tucked away' at a resort. Ti Kaye's staff (the drivers, wait staff, and the Island Divers crew) were all so wonderful at exposing us to St. Lucian cuisine, beautiful vistas, and cultural experiences. Without being too redundant- I'll note a few really noteworthy things that made our stay extra special. - The Sights and Sounds: the entire resort overlooks a beautiful beach/bay area is nestled in a vibrant jungle setting. We were surprised (and excited) to find salamanders walking across our balcony, birds landing onto our hammock (this was a little scary at first), and seeing frogs, hermit craps, and other little creatures throughout our visit. It was never to the point where it felt like too much. In the morning, we awoke to the sounds of birds and fisherman working in the bay. During the day, there were some boats that would dock in the harbor, usually playing Caribbean party music. It looked and sounded like a honeymoon should feel. - The Other Couples: We shared the resort with some of the most genuine and sweet couples. On excursions, we laughed together, had good conversation, and also respected each others' privacy. It felt like the perfect balance of friendliness/friendship balances with the quiet seclusion one hopes for when you are on your honeymoon. - Exciting Trips/Special Nights: We highly recommend the Land and Sea Tour- Christian was an amazing and knowledgeable guide! On this trip we saw the Sulphur Springs, swam under a waterfall, visited Soufriere, and ate at a Cocoa Plantation. On Monday Nights, dinner is served on the beach by candlelight, Wednesday nights Ti Kaye has a couples 'cocktail hour' where you mingle with other guests before eating dinner to a live local band with dancing. Friday nights, Ti Kaye guests that the opportunity to take a taxi into Anse Le Ray (a local fishing village) to experience the local Fish Fest (we highly recommend this!!!!) - Beach & Water: The bay that Ti Kaye is situated on is actually an area that OTHER resorts boat their guests in for snorkeling and scuba diving. You are literally a swim away from some absolutely beautiful coral reefs and snorkeling/scuba experiences. We borrowed a kayak (free of charge for Ti Kaye guests) and explored some beaches outside of our 'cove'. The beach was relaxing- but be forewarned the sand is dark and gets HOT! During our time on the beach we were approached by beach vendors (who usually rowed up in kayaks or boats). This was a fun experience interacting with them- most were quite friendly and not overly pushy. If you are one that does not want any interactions with local people- this is not the place for you. We enjoyed getting to know the different beach guys like 'Rainbow Man,' 'Lucky Seven' 'Johnny-Be-Good', and 'Sylvester' In short, we would recommend this to anyone who is looking for a honeymoon that is fun, genuine, relaxing, and spiced with authentic St. Lucian flavor.
