The view of the lake was magnificent. However, although there was a hotel terrace overlooking the lake, it was very bare - not a plant in sight. Very unloved and the staff didn’t seem to be very enthusiastic. One waiter threw the bottletop from a beer bottle over the wall onto the lake shoreline every time he served a beer😳. There was some small building works and a waiter was pushing the wheelbarrow to help, and they then tipped the dirt rubble over the wall onto the side of the lake! No care for the environment. Our room was large but very basic and old fashioned. On the plus side, reception staff were very polite and helpful.

Otel odası temiz ve konforluydu. Sahur daki kahvaltı çok çeşitli ve güzeldi. Akşam iftar yemeği fiks menü olması iyi olmadı. Van a gidip her akşam Adana kebap yemek zorunda kaldık. Menü de hiç Van yöresel yemeği yoktu.

This hotel is definitely worth the money. The AC worked well and I was always able to find parking outside. The breakfast is excellent, just remember that it ends at 10, not 11. I would definitely come back.

Great hotel in Van. After staying in old, stone rooms in Sanliurfa, Mardin and Midyat, it was almost like coming back to civilization being in this hotel lol. Nice, clean and modern. We were given a room on the top floor with a view of the lake. I have to say I was a little concerned about music when I saw staff setting up for a wedding downstairs but it ended at 10 pm. Breakfast was good. We were asked to wear gloves when getting food… (we had masks on already). I have to say that I didn’t really understand it as there were people serving themselves that didn’t even have a mask on! It didn’t make sense to me. There was only 1 English channel on tv. All other hotels we stayed in offered multiple channels in English.

Relaxation by Lake Van

This hotel is great for a relaxıng stay rıght ın the shores of Lake Van. I had a water vıew and the sound of the waves and the call of the seagulls gave the ımpressıon that it was the sea rather than a lake- so so relaxing. I enjoyed an excellent breakfast both mornings.The staff were outstanding- frıendly, helpful and organısed.They have put ın place all covid-19 precautıons.
