El hotel es muy bonito y céntrico. Tiene restaurante y bar por lo que si llegas tarde tienes servicio. La habitación es muy amplia y tiene salón con cocina. El único problema es que está en una calle donde hay tránsito y no para hasta la noche. Si tienes sueño ligero puede molestar un poco. Las habitaciones de la parte de atrás tienen ruido constante debido a las máquinas de refrigeración. El desayuno es excelente con productos muy frescos y variados.

Muy destacable: 1. Decoración moderna y con mucho gusto, súper cuidada. Además, práctica y comida. 2. Cama súper cómoda (en unas habitaciones más grande que en otras, mejor la más grande). 3. Ropa de cama y toallas de calidad. 4. Amplitud de las habitaciones y separación de espacios entre cocina y dormitorio. 5 dotación de utensilios de cocina. Capacidad de mejora en: posibilidades de las terrazas, solo un par de habitaciones tienen vistas que inviten a disfrutar las terrazas, las de la última planta. Pero ahí tienes dl problema del ruido constante de las máquinas del aire acondicionado, instaladas en la azotea. Tienen que mejorar el aislamiento.

I stayed at the Shipyard Angra Hotel for 5 nights in an Apartment-Style, one-bedroom unit with breakfast & dinner included, and I had a great experience overall. I arranged my airport transportation directly through the hotel, and everything went smoothly—the driver was waiting for me right on time both on arrival and departure. At check-in, I was informed that the 20% roundtrip airport transfer discount listed on Expedia was an error and none of the rooms see the ocean. But the spacious layout and thoughtful amenities—hot plate, microwave, kettle, kitchenware, and mini fridge made up for the parking lot view. (The Studio-style rooms are located on the top floor that you see in the photos) The hotel’s location is excellent—walking distance to everything in the heart of Angra. It’s a perfect choice for couples or families who appreciate a bit more space or want the option to prepare simple meals between dining out. The included continental breakfast offers a variety of options, and you can order eggs fresh to your liking. Since this was a working trip, I had prepaid for dinners, and that turned out to be the highlight of my stay. The meals were delicious and full of flavour, & the chef was kind enough to make a few accommodations for me. Most of all, I want to thank the incredible restaurant team at A Oficina - Brandon, João, Letícia, and Cristiana made every meal feel warm and welcoming with their friendly service and genuine hospitality. They truly made my experience!

Wir hatten einen schönen Aufenthalt, aber haben dennoch einige Kritikpunkte. Die Zimmer waren stilvoll eingerichtet und sauber. Das Frühstück war lecker, aber hätte etwas mehr gesündere Optionen, wie z.B. frisches Gemüse haben können. Beim Service gibt es ebenfalls noch Luft nach oben. Vor allem beim Frühstück hat es teilweise gedauert, bis man jemanden gefunden hat, bei dem man Kaffe&Eier bestellen konnte. Enttäuscht waren wir außerdem darüber, dass im Badezimmer zwar wiederbefüllbare Spender von Rituals aufgestellt waren, zumindest Seife und Duschgel aber offensichtlich nicht von Rituals waren (orange Farbe, anderer Geruch). Preis-Leistung passt hier nicht ganz zusammen.

Moderne und grosse Zimmer mit Küche, ideal für längere Aufenthalte. Wir haben uns sehr wohlgefühlt. Auch die Tiefgarage war praktisch. Leider funktionierte die Klimaanlage nicht, daher wurde es tagsüber sehr heiss im Zimmer. Leider konnte das Problem auch nach 1 Woche nicht behoben werden. Das Frühstück ist gut, einzig das Personal war teils etwas unfreundlich und unaufmerksam. Auch Abendessen würden wir eher extern empfehlen. Zu teuer und Qualität ist nur ok. Da gibt es Besseres in Angra. Das Gym ist winzig und es stank sehr im Raum.

The one-bedroom apartment with pull-out couch was perfect for our family of four. Spacious room, very comfortable beds, deck for drying our swim gear, free on-site covered parking, and delicious array of foods at the complimentary breakfast each morning. Great location in Angra, walkable (for those able-bodied) to the main town areas for shops, restaurants, the forts, churches, waterfront, beach, and more. Staff was friendly and we were so appreciative that they were able to allow us an early check-in after our overnight flight. That early afternoon nap saved the first-day exhaustion and allowed us to enjoy the rest of the day.

We loved this hotel! We were travelingin with our children, and this was our first hotel on the trip. Really cool vibe, room was really spacious, and loved the pullout couch for the kids so we could have our own space. Restaurant and bar was wonderful, and the buffet breakfast was outstanding. Location was great, we were a 10 minute walk from the harbor, and easy walking distance to squares, restaurants, and sites. And really loved the free parking in the garage under the property. Highly recommend, would return for another stay.

The staff was nice. Our room was huge with a living room and kitchen and a nice bathroom. It was clean and well maintained. The location was okay, we could have done better in town. I thought we would have a nice view, but the hotel isn’t oriented to look at the water. Our room had a terrible view of a parking lot, felt very creepy. There is a free parking garage which is great. The breakfast is okay, but the quality of breakfast made us avoid eating at the restaurant for any other meals. The air conditioning isn’t really very functional. They have units mounted on the wall, but they don’t put out much cool air. We opened the the windows at night to cool the room off. Overall a just okay experience.

Decent modern hotel in walking distance to the city center. Spacious rooms ideal for families with kids. Unfortunately the air condition didn't work very well, neither in the room nor in the fitness area (which was comically small, very hot and lacking basic equipment). Must also warn that the breakfast is really bad for this type of "fancy" hotel. Even the simplest dishes like omelette and scrambled eggs tasted like paper.

This is the second time weve stayed at this hotel. This time was because we were in a marcha for san joaninas and we needed a place to stay for a night. Although we absolutely love this hotel, it was a bit of a walk for us especially after marching down a rua da se. Definitely recommended this hotel. The staff was very pleasant and the breakfast was amazing with lots of choices.

We have just stayed for 4 nights. It's important to note if you choose this hotel to pay extra for rooms on the 3rd Floor that have a view. Our room 207 overlooked a commercial vehicle car park. It was very depressing. The hotel was full so couldn't change rooms. The darkness was compounded by poor lighting in the rooms including the bathroom. Air-conditioning was a little weak. Breakfast is good, but ordering the hot food and Coffee was sometimes slow. The barman in the evening was excellent. The hotel is in a nice location and a short walk to the supermarket and the Canadhina restaurant was a fun locals place to eat.

Beautiful hotel and comfortable rooms. Two bedroom apartment had a massive deck with a view of the ocean. Staff went out of their way to be helpful, including setting up airport transportation and making up the sofa bed before a late night arrival. Staff responded nearly immediately to messages. Short walk to the center of town. Continental breakfast was adequate, though a little slim on protein options.

Great hotel, super location

Great modern hotel only 10 minutes walk to the town centre. Lovely apartment with spacious lounge and bedroom areas. Kitchenette really convenient. A few items of crockery missing but not a big issue for a couple. The balcony glass was shattered which did not compromise safety or affected our stay but it was odd we were given that room when the hotel was not busy. We needed air conditioning as the bedroom was very warm but unfortunately the air con was not operating in April. But with eco credentials it is understandable.
