We enjoyed our 5-night stay. We felt safe and it was very quiet. The room was convenient and had everything we needed. When i couldn't get the dishwasher to work, I called reception and they sent maintenance over. We went out and came back to the dishwasher being on. The apartment is in need of some paint and some TLC but it was fit for purpose.

I thought it was a bit weird when I went down to reception and asked if I could get the room vacuumed because of biscuit crumbs and the vacuum was dropped off for me to do myself. I mean I'm not adverse to doing vacuuming on holidays but is this your policy, do it yourself? Apart from that, the buffet breakfast was average, there was only one type of cheese and the menu did not cater for international guests. And maybe just have a Bain Marie with poached eggs ready for people to take as the ordering system seems a bit superfluous. The frittatas are in little patty pans and most of it sticks to the patty pan as they don't use oil. I've been to buffet breakfasts around the world and it just seemed a little bit lackluster to me. None of the salt shakers work, they need to buy new Pepper and Salt shakers for every table. Also I think the Mantra has had its day, it seems dated for the price you pay. The shower head does not even have a hand held option for adjustable height and rinsing, just the old fashioned small inflexible shower rose. I'm being petty but I paid a lot so I have certain expectations for the tariff.

All round an ok stay, nothing special. Annoyingly I asked for early check in as I had an event with a 1pm arrival, asking for a 12:30 check in. They could not accommodate, and I was late. The location and parking are great here, and the rooms are fine. If you like a softer pillow, or options on pillows I would BYO

We had great fun, property is well maintained, on the beach and perfectly located for a short getaway. The rooms are getting a bit worn out but the staff makes up for it. Great for kids and families- lots of games and activities in kids room, tennis court, pool, steam room etc. to keep everyone happy and busy. Evening at the garden bar was amazing too.

Excellent all over!! Fantastic stay at Mantra Lorne with an unbeatable beachfront location. Room was clean, spacious, comfortable, and well maintained. Excellent facilities including pool, and dining. Staff were friendly, professional, and very helpful throughout our stay. Easy walking distance to shops, cafés, and local attractions. Highly recommended – we’d happily stay again.

Our stay was great ,except we had one sleepless night due to a noise coming from a maintenance plant next to our room 206b. We spoke to Renee at reception and she was extremely helpful and put us in another room which was fabulous, the rest of our stay was great.

This motel covers a very large area, upon check in we were told we did not have parking & made park in a general area far from our room, a car parking spot numbered to our room was right outside our room ? after walking in the rain to access areas around the motel, the next morning when the question was asked why we did not have a park, we were told there was a park outside our room ??? Poor staff on check in !! Not happy !!
