Great Visit

I chose this place as we had 5 couples coming to stay, and I wanted as many separate bedrooms as possible. This worked out well. The place is spacious, plenty of room to hang out, and offers lots of options. It was clean, and well equipped, though the grill could use some work, and a serious cleaning. There are also some loose boards on the deck, watch where you step. The biggest drawback is location. It is way up the mountain on a spider web of roads, which takes a while to learn. If you are staying/skiing at AF, it's probably fine(20min drive), but for us climbing and biking all around Taos and beyond, was more driving than we hoped for. But, mostly my fault for underestimating the commutes. All in all, a great visit.

Cozy Getaway

Great location! Traveled with 6 adults, 3 kids. Everyone had plenty of space to relax, unwind, and sleeping arrangements worked out perfectly. Really enjoyed morning coffee with a view! Communication with host was very easy. Overall, we really enjoyed our stay.

Stunning

This property is absolutely stunning. It has everything you need for your stay. Lot of room to spread out and relax. The views are beautiful, and it is so quiet out there. If you are a nature lover, there is wildlife that comes by the property! The drive up to the cabin is so pretty. If you like to cook at the cabin, the kitchen has everything you need! The decor was beautiful, the beds comfortable!

Lovely Family Friendly Mountain Retreat

Barb's place was absolutely gorgeous and well equipped. We celebrated my mom's birthday here and had the best time. There was plenty of space for everyone and we all had a great time.

Quiet Getaway

Stayed here for a quiet getaway with friends and family. The house was well kept and very clean. We enjoyed the amenities including grilling on the deck and playing some ping pong in the basement. There were plenty of beds for everyone and the kitchen made meal prep easy. The home was pretty far up a dirty road so just be prepared for ruts, holes and mud, but we made it up with no issue in our minivan.

Great location and cabin

Everything was wonderful and exactly as described. The views were amazing and it was a clean well stocked cabin. Good contact with the host and no problems with check in or check out. No concerns getting up the mountain in family vehicles in June but snow would be a challenge. We definitely felt the elevation for a day or two but the view, fresh air, and aspens were worth it!

Peaceful & Relaxing!

This is a beautiful place to get away! Property Manager was awesome and so accommodating! We have stayed in many places in the Red River area and this definitely was the most peaceful and beautiful! All you needed was there -- and they were not skimpy on supplies like some other places! Our family so enjoyed our stay!

Great cabin with beautiful views

We loved our stay here. The cabin is well stocked with everything you need. We enjoyed having the extra space around us and the kids loved sledding The views are absolutely beautiful. I highly Recommend staying here.

This absolutely lovely home is nestled in the serene woods! The pet-friendly accommodation was a delightful surprise - with NO ODORS, offering a perfect retreat for both humans and furry friends. Perfect getaway!

The house was beautiful! There were 4 couples and we had plenty of room. We cooked all our meals there and the kitchen and everything we needed! It is very remote but we stayed at the house the whole time. Great hiking! It was the perfect getaway!!!

What a lovely place!

We stayed for 3 weeks, and I was sad to leave at the end. The house is beautiful, the kitchen and bathrooms welk-stocked, the beds very comfortable. It’s also very private - we couldn’t see any other houses, but the balcony/deck was big enough to see the mountains and gorgeous view. It is high up on the mountain, which was no problem for us but could be tough for those who don’t drive cars that do well on dirt roads. That’s not a criticism at all, because the drive up the mountain has a big payoff!

Perfect Mountain Family Getaway

Great layout for families. Kids loved staying downstairs, playing cards and ping pong all night. Views were great, and perfect spot to enjoy your coffee on the porch at night. Barb was very attentive and responsive.

Angel Fire on fire

The cabin is gorgeous and the view is unbelievable! I highly recommend the cabin. If you’re looking for an amazing cabin with million dollar views then this is it!! When I return to the area I will definitely check availability on this cabin first. There are a few things that do need to be updated. The grill is in pretty bad shape so we weren’t able to use. It wasn’t really a big deal to us though we just utilised the beautiful oven. However it just needs to be replaced. Also the white cushions on the wicker furniture needs to be replaced or reupholstered but again it really wasn’t a big deal for us. Just recommendations.

Amazing place in Angel Fire

Amazing property and amazing view. House was well-stocked and made staying there easy. 15 minutes to anything in Angel Fire and easy day trip to Taos. We'd look here again next time in AF.

Beautiful, better than pictures

The home is beautiful and well kept. After our first night’s stay, I was surprised to find that the floors were heated! The home is nested high in the mountain and provides gorgeous views of the valley below and the mountains across. All the rooms have plenty of space. The kitchen and laundry have updated appliances. My favorite was the range stove. The only caution: I would strongly advise others to have a four wheel drive vehicle. The roads can get muddy and icy as you travel up the mountain. We used 4 wheel drive the entire time of our stay.
