Great getaway!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. It was convenient to head out for day trips to Girdwood, Whittier and Seward. Originally my son and his family were joining us, but work got in the way. The other bedroom would’ve needed some black out curtains for sure. Would definitely stay here again!

Great location, in a quiet neighborhood but right next to a park with walking trails and a playground. Fenced in backyard was great for our dog. No blackout curtains, so the bedrooms were pretty bright, and it could have been cleaned a little better, but overall a nice place.

Summer in Alaska, the sun goes down at midnight. Please invest in blackout curtains. Fortunately, we found blankets.

Great house and location

We were in town for annual trip to work at hospital. This house had everything and unlike most places they had all the kitchen stuff you need and left somethings behind for people to use. Kitchen knives lacking if need to cut something up, very dull. But beds and temp were great and we could control. Only thing really needed is blackout curtains for bedroom on left. We ended up putting towels on blinds since sun stays up forever in summer and we needed for work next day. Would definitely stay again and owner very responsive.

Overall good

I would recommend it. Some minor items should be addressed prior to the next guest occupying the property. Fix the ripped couch cushion, provide the missing handle to the dryer door, fix the toilet paper handle in the main bath. Thought salt and paper towels could have been provided. The online house leaving instructions did not match the book provided in the house.
