Perhaps the best location and grounds in this area

Pros: Superb beach.
Cons: The wifi went down for half a day, and more to the point I couldn't reach the front desk or superintendent. No need for air freshener.
Location: There's a good grocery store a few miles to the west, and the widest choice of food and kitsch are a few miles to the east in Montauk.
The room seemed just recently remodeled. The kitchen and bathroom were top of the line. On my first day I aired out an overbearing perfume smell. The grounds have great landscaping, and a boardwalk leads to the nice isolated section of beach. There's a supply of beach chairs. The pool looked attractive if it had been summer. There weren't any noises, and a sign says 10:30 pm is quiet time. The tall grassy dune is your view from a cheaper ground floor south-facing room. It had some nice wood furniture, sensible tile and laminate floors, an ubiquitous AC/heat unit, and the mini dishwasher worked. There were shelves full of new dishes and glasses. The TV was good, and I got 9 megabit internet.

This is a great place to stay!

We really liked the room, appreciated the accomodations- kitchen, dishwasher, living room, tv. It was clean and staff was helpful and friendly. The beach is right there, and we had an overall great time.
