Spectacular mountain house 12 km from Comillas and just 3 km from the historic monumental complex of Santillana del Mar.

Casona Los Cautivos has 400m², 8 spacious rooms, with views of the garden and all with their own bathroom. Two of the rooms have a pair of single beds, another five have a double bed, and finally a luxurious suite that has a dressing area and seating area and a splendid bathroom with a big bathtub.

This stately house was built in the 19th century and renovated on successive occasions to make it a comfortable place adapted to current needs without losing its rustic essence. It maintains the typical structure of the Cantabrian tradition, with a large central wooden staircase that runs through each of the three floors of the house.

The house is nice, it used to be a hotel which is funny for the kids. The furniture in the garden is not that good, only one sunbed for example. The commmunication with the host was oke before we came and paid for the house. After that it was difficult to get in touch.

Très belle maison dans une région vraiment agréable

Nous avons passé un super séjour dans cette maison située dans un petit village très mignon. Nous avons pu profiter de l'environnement grâce aux chemins jolis et très accessibles. Le jardin et la piscine sont également très agréables. La communication avec la propriétaire est très fluide et très efficace. La maison est vraiment belle et spacieuse et les chambres sont impeccables. La cuisine bénéficierait d'un peu plus d'ustensiles mais Ana a commandé sur Amazon des plats à tartes et torchons lorsque nous le lui avons demandé. La maison était globalement très propres à l'exception du four et du bbq qui n'avaient visiblement pas été nettoyés depuis un bout de temps. Nous recommandons cet emplacement si vous voulez passer un agréable séjour entre amis.
