Very spacious place. Very clean & looked like it had been recently renovated. Parking for 2 vehicles on site. Within walking distance to downtown.

Akureyri City Apartments Basement suite

This is a basement suite, but bright with large windows. The place is new or recently remodeled, freshly painted. Very clean and nice with new furniture. Brand new washing machine and dryer are in the bathroom. New fridge in the kitchen. New TV set (although we did not use it) in the living room. Everything worked well. As a recommendation for improvement is to have towel dryer racks and soap holder at the shower in the bathroom, and nightstands next to the bedroom bed with reading lights. These are just minor items. We (three of us) stayed there for two nights and enjoyed it. I highly recommend the place.
