Room was great and clean. Beautiful view from courtyard. Safe area. It was a 20 minute walk to the main hub of airlie along the water front or a $12 cab into the main strip.

Great views of beautiful azure waters and the marina. Lovely well equipped apartment with kitchen, very comfortable bed and laundry facilities. The pool was great and just outside our door. The only issue was you really need a car or dont mind a good walk into airlie, bus stops were not close by. Staff were very helpful and friendly.

Great stay but awful paint smell on first day

This accommodation is absolutely stunning. The view is so amazing and everything is great except for one thing. On our first day, as soon as we entered the room, we noticed an intense smell. We were told by concierge that it may be the common musty smell that they have in Queensland and that it’s normal because they had a lot of rain. The next day, she said she just remembered that the unit had just been painted so that’s what’s maybe causing the smell and that it’s normal. The smell dramatically reduced the next day since we’ve left the windows open, but it was a little bit too late b ‘cause the smell on the first day already caused us some breathing issues and we got a cold as well. I guess they don’t always paint the room and this is a one off issue but I recommend that if you smell a really strong odour, just insist to be moved to another room especially if you are very sensitive to smell.

We loved the quiet location of the resort with easy access to the heart of Airlie. Our room had an incredible view over the ocean and was large for the family. The beds were very comfortable. The resorts gardens were well maintained. The pool was a great for families and loved the addition of the shade over it!
