Our stay was extremely disappointing, especially at nearly $650 per night. The floors were dirty and unvacuumed. The kitchen floor was dirty. The desk chair was broken and unsafe, and the indoor and outdoor cushions on the chairs were so worn and flattened that they left us all sore. The barbecue was filthy, the shower rod was bent, which caused the shower curtain to not close, causing water to escape without significant effort to keep it closed throughout my shower. There was no bathroom exhaust fan, towels were insufficient, several outlets did not work, and one pillow smelled terrible. The air conditioning worked poorly in one bedroom and not at all in another despite 93-degree weather. The microwave was dangerously high, and one bathroom had blackened grout and a stained countertop. The advertised EV charger had no cable, forcing me to drive into town twice. The long access road was filled with deep potholes and washed-out areas, requiring us to drive 2–3 mph even in SUVs. I do not believe lower-profile cars could safely navigate this road without damage to their car. We also received conflicting checkout instructions. First it was 11 am, and then late the night before checkout, they said it was 10 am. They eventually honored the 11 am. We checked out 2 hours early, and after six messages and five days, we are still waiting for a promised $75 refund and future-stay discount. I would not stay here again or recommend it. Trufully, I feel we should get a bigger refund.
