amazing stay

I can’t imagine a more perfect stay. We showed up in the early evening and were greeted by Arpit who showed us what professional courtesy and perfect hospitality are all about. Rather than checking in at the desk where the evening crowds (and noise) were starting to gather, he personally escorted us up to our room and we did the check-in process there. From that point on, he checked in on us at various locations around the hotel throughout our stay to ensure that things were going well. They were! He was able to obtain a reservation at the much touted (and much deserved) Loya restaurant. We had a fabulous experience there. It started by being greeted by the Manager, Swarang, who ensured that everything went perfectly. It did! We enjoyed the best Indian meal we’ve ever had. It was all gorgeously presented and wonderfully prepared. She went above and beyond in honor of a combined celebration of our Anniversary, my wife’s birthday and Valentine’s Day by presenting us with a house photographer, some beautiful sweets and a bouquet of roses with a lovely personal message. Our amazing, young server, Sneha, completely overwhelmed us with her menu knowledge and impeccable service. With her amazing attitude and desire to please, she could easily become a manager very, very soon. We were also able to join in on a tour of the hotel hosted by a retired 40-year employee that cooked there. Amazing history and architecture highlights.

The Taj Mahal Tower is a beautiful hotel. Our room was spacious and clean. The service was on point. The food at the in-house restaurants was excellent, if pricey. The plumbing needs some work, as our sink was leaking when we entered the room, but staff did patch it right away when notified.

Excellent hotel

This is a very upmarket hotel with excellent service. The prices for drink and food are expensive, but that is to be expected. The rooms were comfortable and had very good amenities and the location is great. The heritage tour was the highlight of the stay and I would highly recommend staying here at least once in your life!

Superb the hospitality the rooms cleanliness.Its the 2nd time ive stayed here hopefully many more to come. Had an amazing 3 night stay at Taj Mahal Towers in January. Everything about this trip was indulgent, magical and pure luxury. From the blessing on entering the lobby, to the wonderful welcome from Jay at check-in, to entering our room with a view directly to the Gateway to India (it was a pleasure to sit in the room and watch the sunrise through the gateway). The room was modern and clean, the only downside was that our room was opposite the lift but all sea view rooms were on the side of the lifts. We had a very calm and serene breakfast alfresco each morning by the pool and the waiters were extremely attentive. High tea at Sea Lounge was a fabulous experience, with the Indian street food a tasty surprise option. Once again the waiting staff were delightful. Cannot fault anything in our stay and if staying in Mumbai again, the Taj Mahal towers would be my only choice. Thank you to all the team for making our stay unforgettable.
