Oasis of calm in The Valley of The Temples.

We had a wonderful stay at CasaRealia. It’s a beautifully restored farm house with a lovely garden and pool.The owners, Giancarlo and his wife Roberta, were wonderful hosts for whom nothing was too much trouble. We would recommend a car to get around but the Temples and town are reachable by taxi.

We had a fabulous stay at Casa Realia. Although it can be a challenge to find (they provide accurate GPS coordinates, however), the property is a real oasis with a lovely pool, garden and main facility and a terrific view over the sea. The staff is warm and makes you feel like family. We would definitely return.

CasaRealia is an absolutely beautiful property situated right on the Mediterranean Sea. Giancarlo and his team could not be more welcoming or accommodating. From gorgeous vistas to convenient nearby access to the Valley of the Temples, we had a very memorable time there. Breakfast was amazing and there are a number of great local restaurants and trattorias for lunch or dinner options. Should we return to Agrigento, and we hope to, CasaReali will be where we stay.

Our hostess & host and staff warm & friendly & this a true guest house treasure . Being on the Mediterranean was a tremendous plus too . The property is a beautifully restored 1800’s farm house right on the coast. It was meticulously redone. The grounds and pool are beautiful. The breakfast was huge and delicious. The owner is on-sight. He was super welcoming; answering all sorts of questions. Finally, the nearby Valley of Temples is truly awesome.

Despite being a little tricky to get to first time, CasaRelaia is a beautiful place, lovingly looked after and with wonderfully welcoming hosts. The pool is superb, the terrace where breakfast is served is delightful, and the breakfast was great too. We thoroughly enjoyed our 2 nights, the location is great for Agrigento and also close to the little town of San Leone on the coast so there are plenty of places to eat only a short drive away, but the main attraction is the Valley of Temples, which is no more than a 5 - 10 min drive and is spectacular. I cannot recommend CasaRealia highly enough, it has been everything we had hoped for on our trip.

Beautiful, peaceful, near Valley of the Temples

We loved Casa Realia, it was the perfect spot to unwind and swim after a day at the Valley of the Temples. The owners are lovely people, very friendly and helpful - it gives an intimate feel to the hotel, as another reviewer said, and we loved the restaurant recommendations. We chose the Maddalusa room, which meant we could go outside directly into the garden - beautiful and also safer in the time of Coronavirus. It is a large room, decorated in a contemporary style, which we like. Breakfast was delicious, served outside on the patio. I chose this hotel because it was both close to the Temples (a five minute drive) and by the sea, with sea breezes. However, it is not on a beach but on a cliff. so we drove to nearby beaches.

Beautiful place.

Beautiful place. The room and terrace were truly beautiful. Sorry we could only stay one night. Only problem is finding the place. It’s right off a major highway, so it’s easy driving, but your GPS won’t find it. You have to approach from the right direction, so you take the road past, and make a u-turn. Well worth the effort though. Beautiful breakfast on the terrace as well. Owner was very nice and helpful with finding the place and when we had trouble with the gate. Very nice guy.

Intimate but gorgeous and relaxing property. Best breakfast on the island. Still thinking of that fluffy cloud of a cake! The owners are a delight and they go the extra mile to make your stay special. We were leaving early for a flight and they prepared us a light breakfast the night before (they even remembered that my son liked hot chocolate! How attentive and sweet is that!). Thank you so much for a wonderful stay.
