My stay at Victoria grand apartment

So from the beginning the communication with Isaac was okay. Spoke to me about the area and the wifi (which you have to buy yourself). However, the co ordinates that I got from Isaac were wrong. It took us to a whole different area and the telephone number online for the caretaker was wrong so it wasn’t going through. Luckily I had a friend who knew that area and suggested we try his route. We eventually got there and found that it has an actual title called Victoria grand apartment and it was on google maps too. Had we got that in the beginning, we would have saved so much time when finding it. On arrival, the caretaker was very welcoming and friendly. Showed us around the apartment, how to switch the fans on, the AC, the hob and oven. The apartment was clean all around, no complaints. The apartment would also be cleaned every 2/3 days. And he would come and collect the rubbish. There is a washing machine there available, you just have to buy ur own detergent. It’s a very quiet area with a nearby market and mini shops. The mall is about 10 min drive which was convenient. There’s also a salon near where we got our hair done. Overall the place was good and I would stay there again. Thank you

Disastrous

Property not disinfected as instructed during covid. The whole property was dirty. The few things in the property was either broken or old. Sofa legs broke within days, fixed then broke again. Your could beat the dust out of the sofa, we used our own cover and n it.Bedding and curtains dirty, unhygienic. The property was broken into whilst I slept. The t.v and a mobile phone was stolen which was replaced. The t.v only has 2 channels, not even the dstv free channels were available, they said we have to pay. The owner has put up electric fencing but the front gate is still unsecure. The windows in the downstairs property has no window bars. You can not sleep with the windows open. The bedrooms have large wardrobes but you will still have to keep your clothes in your suitcase. There are no draws or hangers for your clothing. Air conditioning in 1 bedroom and lounge did not work for the whole month stay. 10gb of data that you pay 50 ghs for will only last for 24 hours. The kitchen pots where burnt, the plates and cutlery we never used. Small fridge, not suitable for families on a long stay. The insect infestation inside and outside of the property needs attention. Alot of interruptions to our stay. While they were fixing broken things. The owner wants you to work atleast 3 other people and although he was reasonable we were not offered any compensation for our troubles. keep all your messaging on vrbo. The house boy Wisdom was the only good thing about our stay, he will do anything for you but give him some cedi for your errands. This not a home from home stay, the property is not comfortable. This was our last stop after 6 months renting and exploring Ghana, it totally ruined the end of our wonderful trip.
