Grab your girlfriends and head to Las Vegas for a last-minute escape! Las Vegas is the perfect place for you and your girlfriends to get away. Why? Because they have it all. From award-winning restaurants, lavish spas and epic shopping to the hottest clubs around, there is something for everyone — with little pre-planning required. We’ve teamed up with Meagan Shamy from Mommy Travels to share her favorite things to do in Las Vegas with girlfriends.

Cosmopolitan hotel

Hotel

Pick a luxurious place to stay. It’s not everyday you get to go on a trip with your girlfriends and you deserve to stay someplace nice. I recommend staying at the Venetian or the Cosmopolitan, which should easily accommodate everyone’s budget. Both hotels have nice rooms with amenities women appreciate and both have excellent restaurants. The standard rooms at the Venetian tend to be larger than the ones at the Cosmopolitan since they are almost all suites with one bed. The couch in the room folds out into a twin bed. The Cosmopolitan has more rooms with two beds, but they are not suites for the most part.

Marquee Day Club

Pool Time

Most of the time it is too hot in Vegas not to spend some time at the pool. If you want a party atmosphere, head to the Marquee day club at the Cosmopolitan or Tao day club at the Venetian. Sometimes you have to pay to get in, but in Vegas often times if you’re a lady you do not have to pay. If you want a more low key time head to a pool, where there are no live DJs playing. Lounging poolside with a good book is a great way to spend part of your day after a late night of dancing.

Get Pampered

Another great way to spend a day of recovery is to leave the insanity behind and visit a spa. Almost every major casino in Las Vegas has a spa. Spa Mandalay at Mandalay Bay is a beautiful spa with a eucalyptus steam room and a wide range of treatments. Qua Baths and Spa at Caesars Palace is a luxury spa with the only snowing Arctic Ice Room in the world. You can also enjoy a tea pairing to go with your spa treatment at Qua.

Michael Jackson Cirque Du Soleil

Show Time

While you are in Las Vegas, go see one of the Cirque Du Soleil shows. They are all good, but I recommend the Michael Jackson ONE show or the Beatles LOVE show. Both are spectacular, and chances are high everyone will enjoy the music. The Michael Jackson show features a ton of dancing, and at one point there is a hologram of Michael Jackson dancing on stage. The Beatles show is one of the biggest shows in Las Vegas and features all kinds of different acts.

Grab Some Grub

There are so many great places to eat in Las Vegas that it can be difficult to narrow them down. China Poblano inside the Cosmopolitan is a fun place to eat. You would not necessarily think a combination of Chinese and Mexican food would be good, but it turns out it is epic. Firefly is a great spot near The Strip with tapas. You can order an assortment of items and share, plus they have half price pitchers during happy hour. Pink Taco inside the Hard Rock Hotel & Casino has appetizing Mexican food.

Hakkasan

Go Dancing

I highly recommend Marquee and Hakkasan at MGM Grand. And if you have energy and time for one more, hit Tao too. When you are just there for a weekend though, two clubs is probably plenty. If possible, find a Vegas club promoter before you go on your trip. You can search for one on Twitter and Instagram. They are easy to find, and can likely get you into whatever nightclub or day club you want to go to. Marquee is located at the Cosmopolitan hotel. Here you will experience a great DJ, lights, fire, confetti and more. Plus, it opens up to the pool area outside. Over at Hakkasan inside the MGM Grand, you will likely have a famous DJ spinning, lights, confetti and more! What more could you ask for in your Vegas escape?
