Holiday Inn Express & Suites Austin Downtown - University by IHG
Recently merged with the neighboring hotel, so the check in desk, entrance, etc seemed like a hike to our room, but it was well signed so we never got lost. Desk staff were very helpful. Great location to go to the Sixth Street bars.

Orangewood Inn & Suites Midtown
The hotel is very old and the bedroom had a BAD ODOR. It smelled like an old storage room that hasn’t been opened in 20 years. Would not recommend. The bed was extremely uncomfortable and overall the hotel is very dated. The bathroom mirror and amenities were all dirty with water stains.
