Our rooms smells like cigarette smoke. We told the front desk. One of the staff came upstairs with my husband. The staff confirmed it did smell and offered to have housecleaning spray a deodorizer. They said they were completely booked and could not change our room. I suffer from migraines so did not have them spray as it could make it even worse. Very disappointed with how they handled this situation.

The room was clean, bathroom was clean. The free breakfast was decent and had fresh coffee as well. I just didn’t have a good experience checking in, I prepaid for 3 nights, so I was expecting when you get there, during check-in time your room would be ready. It wasn’t, and it was not only me there were 2 people before me that were dissatisfied with the front desk personnel. I would still stay here if I visit Chicago again, location is nice and you feel safe walking around.

The breakfast was really not as good as a Resicence Inn or a Hilton Garden Inn. The same items not a little variety. In addition, we were assigned room 801 which was a two bedroom suite. However, there was only one bathroom. It would have been a little less expensive if we would have booked a two bedroom suites and we would have had two bathrooms. It was frustrating that the hotel was fixing one of the service elevators which happened to be next to our suite. We were trying to take a naps in the afternoons and unfortunately could NOT sleep because of the loud noise that was happening . The crib that we requested we could not lock it as there was a missing part. Therefore, we never used the crib/play pen. We returned it. Location was ideal and a couple of the Front Desk agents were very professional and helpful. Otherwise, I was not impressed at all.

Good location, worked well for our needs. Room was clean and maintained. Elevators are very small and often have to wait a long time for them. Additionally, you aren’t able to use the stairs to get all the way to first floor, so that’s a safety hazard if waiting for elevator and you need to exit quickly. Have requested my receipt to be emailed 2x and still haven’t gotten it. So I don’t know what my final charges are yet.

The room and the property is amazing, loved everything. The staff was great. Just had to wait a little too long for a pillow and blanket. Was disappointed that free WIFI wasn't available. The ceiling in the dining area could use an update, it was leaking, but this did detract from our experience there, I would definitely stay there again!
