"The rooms were great, we were put in a room facing construction the first night and they moved us easily when we asked for a change. I loved the pool areas, they were so much cleaner than other resorts we have stayed at. I was disappointed with the food, so many reviews said it was amazing and I felt like it was only mediocre. The steakhouse was great, the buffet was very good, but the rest of the restaurants weren’t awesome. The food was often dry, and the options were very limited. I also ended up with GI upset after 2 days, and I’m not sure if it was from something I ate. The spa was a disappointment as well. The massage was nice, but the pools were disappointing. There were two small tubs, one cooler and one warmer. The sauna wasn’t working. I guess I’m comparing this to the spa in other resorts, and I found it lacking in comparison. The resort credit idea was terribly misleading. You only are allowed to apply a very small percentage of the resort credit to any one thing (like 15% off on massage or one excursion). We stayed elsewhere last year and the resort credit allowed us each to have one full massage basically for free. This year, we didn’t barely touch the resort credit. To come close to using the $500, you basically need to do an excursion, photo package, or spa treatment every day. Overall, the resort was beautiful and well maintained. The entertainment was also very good. "

"Clean renovated resort, was in the new building which has no elevator. No huge deal, but tiring by end of day. Long lines for drinks near the pool areas at the start, started to have rolling drink carts which was nice. Only real complaint is the pool area. Lots of shade in the chair areas, but nothing for shade in the pools or even on the beach. Also no real music happening at the pool area aside from the pool bar."

"Its a pricey property and we could never get a reservation for any of the dining facilities only the buffet, which was lovely but would have been nice to try the others for the price of our stay"

"Rooms were good. We didn’t get our upgrade u til 5 days in which was too bad. Staff are all such hard workers and friendly. Bar and bar staff excellent. Spa was good but over priced "

"Our room was spectacular and clean. Amazing view. But, all appliances were VERY loud. I used the washer/dryer for all the wet clothes and they were so loud that nit even closing the doors helped the noise. The jacuzzi was also very very loud, we opted to turn it off and call it a night. The espresso machine and coffee maker, were both very loud. We did not use it again. Elevators were broken and we were on the 7th floor… not cool going down/up in heels. Not really a kid-friendly place. Over all a beautiful place for older adults and seniors."
