"This is a nice, well-priced place to stay in the downtown area of Vancouver. It's close to but not in the middle of everything. It's walkable to many neighborhoods including the restaurants on Davie St and Yaletown. We were able to walk to the Skytrain Metro stop after our checkout - glad it was mostly downhill because going the other way with luggage could be a challenge. They have a large storage room to keep your bags, if needed. Our flight was not until the evening, so we kept our bags there all-day. Our 4th floor room was very clean, modern and had nice amenities, but not much room to lay out luggage. There were two large club chairs to lounge in that took up space, so I guess that's the tradeoff. The wall between the bathroom and the main area was not well insulated, so a lot of noise filtered through when someone took a shower. Also, the HVAC system was very loud. If you are a light sleeper, it will likely wake you up when it cycles on. Thankfully, the room was a comfortable temperature overnight, so we did not need to have it on until the morning. The breakfast add-on we chose was worth it - inexpensive, good and filling. At night, we did have a cocktail at the roof-top bar, which was quite lovely. A great place to wind down after a day out on the town. The hotel staff in the lobby, the restaurant and bar were all very nice. Overall, I was happy with our stay at The Parker."
